Guide: how to choose Ninebot spare parts
A spare part is only right if it fits your exact model. This guide explains how to identify your Ninebot and what to look out for in each category. Parts for other brands are gathered in the spare parts portal, and the scooters themselves are listed under Ninebot.
Which Ninebot model do you have?
The model designation is printed in the manual, on the box and on the rating label on the scooter. Pay attention to the full name: a G30 is not a G2, and an F25 is not an F2. There are variants within a model too – the rear light for the G30D, for instance, is sold as a separate part. When a part fits several models, all of them appear in the title, such as F20/F25/F30/F40 or E22/E25/E45.
Ninebot spare parts for tyres and wheels
Tyres are replaced more often than anything else. For the G30 there are 10-inch tyres in pneumatic, semi-solid and honeycomb versions, for the F series 10-inch pneumatic, for the ES series 8-inch solid, for the P65/P100 10.5-inch and for the GT1/GT2 11-inch. The Max G3 and ZT3 have their own sizes, stated in the product title. Several pneumatic tyres come with puncture sealant, and there are studded tyres for winter. If you need more than rubber, there are complete front wheels, rear wheels and motor wheels – for example 350 W for the G30 Max and 450 W for the G2. More sizes can be found under tyres and wheels.
Brake parts: levers, cables, pads and drum brakes
Ninebot models brake in different ways, and the parts follow the design. There are drum brakes for the G2, E2 Pro, E3 and D28, brake callipers for the F series and ZT3, and brake pads for the P65/P100, GT1/GT2, ZT3 and F3. Brake levers and brake cables are available for most series; on the Max G3 and ZT3 the front and rear cables are sold separately. Replace worn brake parts in good time – the brake is the most important safety component on the scooter.
Electronics: controller, display and throttle
The controller is model-specific, sometimes down to the variant – the E22 uses a different controller from the E25/E45. The same goes for dashboards, display panels, thumb throttles and twist throttles. You will also find the G30 mainboard, power cables, display cables, indicator switches and complete indicator systems for the G2, E2 Pro and ZT3, among others. Compare connectors and cable length with your old part before fitting.
Chargers, charging port and battery
Chargers are available for the E series, ZT3 and GT1/GT2, and the built-in charger for the G2 and Max G3 is available as a spare part. There are also charging cables, charging ports and rubber port covers for several series, plus a battery and battery cover for the G30. Only use a charger intended for your model – the wrong voltage can damage the battery. The full charger range is under chargers. Getting more kilometres out of every charge is covered in our guide on how to increase e-scooter and e-bike range.
Frame, handlebar, mudguards and kickstands
For the chassis there are folding mechanisms, folding locks, stems, handlebars, front forks and shock absorbers, plus small fittings such as locking rings and hooks. Mudguards are often sold as a kit with bracket, and kickstands, deck mats, grips, reflector covers, front and rear lights and bells are available for most series. These are the parts that take a beating in daily use and are easy to replace.
Fitting and help with Ninebot spare parts
You can replace many parts yourself with ordinary hand tools, and tools such as tyre levers are part of the range. Electronics, batteries and motor wheels call for more experience – if in doubt, let a bicycle or scooter repair shop do the job. If you cannot find the right part, or are unsure what fits, customer service will help. For a fault on a vehicle bought from us, read more on the warranty page.
Frequently asked questions
Which Ninebot spare parts are replaced most often?
The wear parts: tyres, brake pads and brake cables, mudguards, kickstands, grips and the deck mat. Electronics such as the controller, display and throttle are replaced less often, usually after water or crash damage.
Do spare parts for the Ninebot G30 fit the G2 or Max G3?
As a rule, no. The G30, G2 and Max G3 are different generations with their own tyres, controllers, displays and mudguards. A few parts are shared, and then every model is listed in the product title – for example Max G3/F3/F3 Pro. If your model is not in the title, assume the part does not fit.
Are there Ninebot spare parts for older models such as the ES and E22?
Yes. For the ES series there are controllers, dashboards, throttles, kickstands, charging ports, mudguards and solid 8-inch tyres, among other things, and for the E22/E25/E45 there are controllers, dashboards, throttles, rear lights, kickstands and front forks.
Can I change the tyres on my Ninebot myself?
Yes, with the right tools. Pneumatic tyres are changed with tyre levers, which you will find among the spare parts. Solid and semi-solid tyres sit tighter and take more force and patience. On the motor wheel you also need to disconnect the motor cable carefully.
What about delivery and returns for Ninebot spare parts?
Free shipping on orders over €69.90 – otherwise €6.95. You have 14-day returns and a 2-year warranty, in addition to your statutory rights.
