How to choose the right APEFOX electric scooter
APEFOX builds e-scooters along two clear lines: heavy dual-motor models for long rides and rough terrain, and a lightweight everyday model with a saddle. Start with how far you ride each day and what kind of surface you mostly ride on – that decides whether the T90 series or the C14 is the one for you.
The models – what sets them apart?
T90 and T90 Ultra share the same core design with 13-inch off-road tyres, front and rear suspension, indicators and three riding modes. The difference lies in battery, motor power and range. The C14 is a completely different kind of APEFOX electric scooter: a 500 W motor, 14-inch wheels, a saddle and a basket, with the focus on low weight and easy handling.
T90 and T90 Ultra – the APEFOX electric scooter for long rides and terrain
The T90 has a 60 V 31.2 Ah battery, two 2,100 W motors and up to 100 km of range. The T90 Ultra raises the bar on every count: a 72 V 40 Ah battery, two 2,600 W motors, up to 120 km of range, an IPX6 rating and dual charging ports that halve charging time when you use two chargers. Both carry up to 150 kg and feature an NFC lock and ambient lighting. Go for the Ultra and you also get 45-degree hill-climbing ability. A model's IP rating tells you how well sealed it is – we explain the numbers in our guide to riding an electric scooter in the rain.
C14 – e-scooter with saddle and basket for the city
The C14 weighs 24.5 kg and is the APEFOX electric scooter for you if you want to sit down, pick up groceries on the way home and park with ease. The 48 V 15 Ah battery delivers up to 50 km, the 500 W motor (900 W peak) handles 30-degree climbs, and the drum-plus-disc brake combination is maintenance-free. The ignition key means nobody else can start it.
Range and battery – how far an APEFOX electric scooter goes
The stated range (50, 100 and 120 km respectively) is the manufacturer's figure at low speed, on smooth tarmac and with a light rider. Expect 60–70 percent in real everyday riding, and less in winter. All of them charge in 7–8 hours from a standard wall socket; the T90 Ultra can be charged with two chargers at once. The batteries are built in, so charge wherever the scooter is parked. Getting more kilometres out of every charge is covered in our guide on how to increase e-scooter and e-bike range.
Rules and speed limiter for an APEFOX electric scooter in Europe
Every model ships limited to 25 km/h. Bear in mind that an APEFOX electric scooter has a rated motor output well above the 250 W that most EU countries set for bicycle-class vehicles, and that many countries also cap e-scooters at 20–25 km/h – formally it is therefore treated as a moped in most places, and the T90 series in unlocked mode is a powerful vehicle intended for enclosed private land only. Check the national registration and licence rules that apply before riding on public roads; the EU road rules and safety overview is a good starting point. You may also want to compare with other models among our long-range electric scooters. See our country-by-country guide to electric scooter laws in Europe.

Frequently asked questions
Which APEFOX electric scooter has the longest range?
The T90 Ultra with its 72 V 40 Ah battery is rated at up to 120 km. The T90 manages up to 100 km and the C14 up to 50 km. Real-world range depends on speed, rider weight, temperature and surface.
Is an APEFOX electric scooter legal to ride on public roads?
They ship limited to 25 km/h but have a rated motor output above 250 W, which in most EU countries means moped class rather than bicycle. Check your national rules on registration, licence, insurance and helmet before riding on public roads. Unlocked mode is intended for enclosed private land only.
What is the difference between the APEFOX T90 and T90 Ultra?
The Ultra has a bigger battery (72 V 40 Ah versus 60 V 31.2 Ah), more powerful motors, 120 km instead of 100 km of range, IPX6 instead of IPX5, dual charging ports and steeper hill-climbing ability.
Does the APEFOX C14 come with a saddle and basket?
Yes. The C14 ships with a saddle, rear basket, ignition key and 14-inch pneumatic tyres. It weighs 24.5 kg and folds, which makes it easy to store at home or in the car.
Are spare parts available for an APEFOX electric scooter?
Yes. Tyres, inner tubes, brake pads, chargers and other parts are available in our spare parts portal. If a part is missing, we order it from the manufacturer. All APEFOX models come with a 2-year warranty at Wheelyshop.
