One tree per order

Every order funds one mangrove tree along the coast of Kenya. Planting is done through the Sprout app from The Good API, which states that the work is carried out with veritree. Each site is geolocated and followed up for three years.

The difference between your own e-scooter and a rental e-scooter is how long they last. That is why we sell 1000+ spare parts separately. The portal covers electric scooters: 18 brands and 240 models. If the part is not in the portal, or it is for an electric bike or electric scooter, you can email us. We order the part in if the supplier has it.

The vehicles themselves

No combustion engine

No exhaust, no idlingNo exhaust forms where you ride. There is no fuel tank. All you hear is tyres on the road.
Runs on electricityThe battery charges from an ordinary socket. Which electricity goes in is decided by your electricity contract, not by the vehicle.
Compared to a mopedNo petrol to fill up. No engine oil to change. No exhaust system to service. You charge and ride.

The outer box is corrugated cardboard and goes in with the paper recycling. The battery is handed in separately, see below.

Step by step

When the battery is spent

Stop using itStop charging the battery. Tape over the terminals if they are exposed and store it cool and dry, away from flammable material. A battery that is swollen, hot or damaged has a higher fire risk and must be handled separately.
Hand it in at a recycling centreBatteries from light electric vehicles are handed in at a recycling centre. Handing one in is free of charge regardless of brand and where it was bought. Large batteries are normally given to staff, not put in the battery bin.
If the battery is damagedA swollen, leaking or fire-damaged battery requires special handling. Contact the recycling centre before you go there and describe the damage. Do not put it in a battery bin and do not send it as a parcel.
