Wheelyshop is operated by VIKADI AB. This policy explains how we create, review and update buying guides, comparisons and other editorial information about electric mobility.

Editorial responsibility

VIKADI AB is responsible for content published by the Wheelyshop editorial team. Articles display a named author or the corporate byline Wheelyshop. Learn more about our editorial team and authors.

How we create content

Topic selection: We use recurring customer questions, our product range and the need for clear information before purchase, use and maintenance.
Sources: We primarily use manufacturers’ manuals and specifications, supplier information, product data in our store, and relevant official and legal sources.
Assessment: Products are compared using factors such as intended use, motor, battery, stated range, weight, brakes, tyres, comfort, compatibility, spare parts, support, price and availability.
Review and updates: Facts are checked against available sources. Content is reviewed when products, regulations or other important conditions change.

Sources and product data

We prioritise primary sources. Technical figures such as range, power, top speed and charging time normally refer to manufacturer data unless clearly stated otherwise. Real-world results can vary due to rider, load, temperature, surface, tyre pressure and riding style.

Tests, rankings and comparisons

Unless we explicitly describe our own hands-on test or measurement method, the content should be understood as an editorial comparison of documented product information, not an independent laboratory test. Where possible, we distinguish between manufacturer claims, official information and our own editorial conclusions.

Commercial relationship and selection

Wheelyshop sells products that may appear in guides and comparisons, and links may lead to our own catalogue. Placement in an editorial guide cannot be purchased. We aim to explain benefits, limitations and who a product is suitable for. Prices, stock and promotions may change after publication.
