How to choose the right Xiaomi scooter spare parts – 2026 guide
A Xiaomi electric scooter is rewarding to repair: most parts are held by screws and connectors and can be replaced one at a time. But parts differ between generations. A controller for the Xiaomi 4 does not fit an M365, and tyre sizes vary. So start by finding out exactly which model you have – the model name is in the manual and usually on the rating plate on the scooter.
Xiaomi scooter spare parts by model – from M365 to Elite
The widest choice is for the classic family – M365, 1S, Essential, Pro and Pro 2, which share many components – and for the Xiaomi 3. The 4 series has its own range for the 4, 4 Pro, 4 Lite (including 2nd Gen), 4 Ultra and 4 Go. For the newer 5, 5 Pro, 5 Plus, 5 Max and Elite you will find display parts, brake levers, mudguards, stems and lights, among other things. If several models are listed in the product name, the part fits all of them; if it only says Xiaomi, the compatible models are listed in the description. The easiest route is the spare parts portal, where you choose brand and model and only see parts that fit.
Tyres, inner tubes and wheels for Xiaomi
Tyres are the most frequently replaced part. The classic family runs on 8.5 inch tyres, and 9.2 and 10 inch tyres are also available for riders who want more comfort – read the description carefully before changing size. The 4 series uses 10 inch tyres in versions that differ between the 4/4 Pro and the 4 Ultra/4 Lite, and the 5 Plus uses 12 inch.
- Pneumatic tyres give the most comfort and grip. They are also available with puncture-sealing gel and with an off-road tread. A reinforced inner tube is a sensible upgrade at the same time.
- Honeycomb and semi-solid tyres are puncture-proof, and the hollow chambers in the rubber make them softer than fully solid tyres.
- Solid tyres need no maintenance but give the firmest ride.
If you would rather not wrestle a tyre onto a rim, there are complete rear wheels and 250 W and 350 W motor wheels with the tyre fitted, as well as rims, bearings and reflective wheel covers. More sizes are listed under electric scooter tyres.
Brakes: pads, discs, cables and drum brakes
If braking feels weaker than before, the pads or the cable are usually the cause. The range includes brake pads, discs, calipers, cables and levers for the disc-brake models, and complete drum brakes for the 3 Lite, 4 Lite (2nd Gen), 5, 5 Pro and 5 Plus, among others. Brake levers differ between generations – the Elite, for example, has a lever with an indicator button – so choose by model. Brakes are a safety component: replace them early rather than late.
Electronics: controller, display, throttle and battery
Controllers are available for several generations, including reinforced versions for the older models. This group also covers display parts, thumb throttles, motor cables, main power cables, charging ports with cable and rubber cover, BMS boards and a replacement battery for selected models. Always disconnect the battery before working on the electronics. Fast chargers for some of the newer models are listed here too, and you will find more options under electric scooter chargers – check voltage and connector against the charger you already have.
Chassis: folding mechanism, mudguard and kickstand
Play in the stem is often caused by a worn folding mechanism. You will find folding mechanisms, latch hooks, lock rings, lock bolts, mounting kits and complete stems with folding mechanism for several models. A cracked rear mudguard is another classic – choose a single mudguard, a metal mudguard support or a complete kit. There are also front forks, handlebars, rubber grips, kickstands, deck mats, battery covers with seal and screws, bells, and front and rear lights.
Fitting Xiaomi scooter spare parts yourself – tools and help
Most jobs can be done at home with Allen keys, a cross-head screwdriver and some patience. A tyre lever, which is part of the range, makes tyre changes easier. Small items such as screws, nuts and cable plugs are sold separately, so you do not have to buy a whole module because of one lost screw. Not sure which part you need? Send the model and ideally a photo to customer service and we will help. For everything else for your scooter, see electric scooter accessories.
Frequently asked questions
Which Xiaomi scooter spare parts fit my model?
Look for the model name in the product name or description. The M365, 1S, Essential, Pro and Pro 2 share many parts, while the 4 series, the 5 series and the Elite have their own. In the spare parts portal you choose brand and model and only see parts that fit. If in doubt, ask customer service before ordering.
Which tyre is best for a Xiaomi electric scooter – pneumatic or puncture-proof?
Pneumatic tyres give the best comfort and grip but can puncture; a version with sealing gel and a reinforced inner tube reduces the risk. Honeycomb and semi-solid tyres are puncture-proof and a good compromise for city riding. Solid tyres are maintenance-free but the firmest.
Can I fit Xiaomi scooter spare parts myself?
Yes, in most cases. Tyres, mudguards, brake pads, grips and lights are manageable for most people with ordinary hand tools. Controllers and battery parts take more experience – disconnect the battery first and photograph the wiring before you unplug anything.
Are there Xiaomi scooter spare parts for the 4 Pro, the 5 series and the Elite?
Yes. The 4 Pro has one of the widest ranges, including tyres, BMS boards, display parts, mudguards, fork and stem. For the 5, 5 Pro, 5 Plus, 5 Max and Elite there are, for example, brake levers, drum brakes, rear lights, mudguards, wheel covers and stems with folding mechanism.
How do delivery, returns and warranty work for spare parts?
Free shipping on orders over €69.90 – otherwise €6.95. You have 14-day returns and a 2-year warranty, in addition to your statutory rights. If you have questions, contact customer service.
