Product description

Wheely J2 Max for powerful and flexible riding.

The Wheely J2 Max is a powerful electric scooter for those who want to combine high motor output, long range and a robust construction. The strong 1200W motor provides fast acceleration response, while the 48V 18.2Ah battery offers up to 55 km range under favourable conditions. Front and rear suspension, large 11-inch off-road tyres and dual disc brakes make the model well suited for both daily commuting and more varied terrain. The foldable design, smart display and clear lighting also make this electric scooter practical to use throughout the journey.

1200W motor delivering power in every riding mode.

The 1200W motor gives the Wheely J2 Max the power needed for fast acceleration and stable drive on both tarmac and firmer gravel roads. The stated top speed is up to 55 km/h, while the climbing ability is stated as up to 20 degrees under suitable conditions. This electric scooter has three riding modes that make it easier to adapt performance to traffic, terrain and desired energy use. A calmer mode suits controlled everyday riding, while a higher mode delivers more direct power when you need a faster motor response.

Up to 55 km range with a 48V 18.2Ah battery.

The Wheely J2 Max is fitted with a 48V 18.2Ah battery, corresponding to a capacity of approximately 864Wh. The stated range is up to 55 km, making this electric scooter suitable for longer trips, leisure rides and regular commuting. Actual range is affected by factors including rider weight, speed, temperature, terrain, tyre pressure and the selected riding mode. Charging time is approximately 6 to 8 hours, making it practical to plug in the charger in the evening and have the battery ready for the next day's ride.

Front and rear suspension for better comfort.

Uneven tarmac, small potholes and gravel can quickly affect the comfort of an ordinary electric scooter. The Wheely J2 Max is therefore fitted with suspension both front and rear. The suspension helps reduce vibrations and hard shocks before they reach the handlebars and footboard, giving a more stable and responsive riding experience on varied surfaces. Together with the robust construction, the suspension also helps the wheels maintain better contact with the ground — particularly valuable on longer journeys where a comfortable riding position and reduced vibrations make a clear difference.

11-inch off-road tyres for stable contact.

The air-filled 11-inch off-road tyres give the Wheely J2 Max a large contact area with the ground. The deep tread pattern is developed to provide stability on tarmac, gravel and other firmer surfaces. Being pneumatic, the tyres also help absorb minor bumps before the suspension takes over. This electric scooter therefore feels more stable on varied terrain than models with smaller and narrower wheels. Regular tyre pressure checks are important to maintain correct grip, range and handling. The right pressure also reduces the risk of unnecessary wear on longer rides.

Dual disc brakes for controlled stopping.

The Wheely J2 Max has two mechanical disc brakes providing braking force front and rear. The system helps the rider control this electric scooter during both everyday riding and at higher speeds. By distributing braking force between the wheels, stopping becomes smoother and more predictable. The function and adjustment of the brakes should be checked regularly, especially after riding on dirty or uneven surfaces. The high motor output and top speed mean that protective equipment and an adapted riding style are particularly important.

Smart display with relevant riding information.

The clear display on the Wheely J2 Max shows important information directly in front of the rider. You can quickly check speed, battery level and other key riding data without losing focus on the direction of travel for long. This electric scooter also has cruise control, which can give a smoother experience on longer, open stretches. The electric horn makes it easy to alert others when needed. The combination of a clear display, three riding modes and easily accessible controls creates a practical rider environment where you can adapt your riding to the situation.

Lighting from multiple angles for greater visibility.

The Wheely J2 Max is fitted with front and rear lighting as well as decorative side lighting. The front light helps you see the road when the surroundings get darker, while the rear light makes this electric scooter more visible to people behind you. The LED lighting along the sides improves visibility from multiple angles and gives the model a modern appearance at the same time. The IPX5 rating means protection against water jets and everyday weather, but the scooter should not be submerged in water or cleaned with a pressure washer. Electrical connections and charging ports must always be dry before charging.

Reinforced construction with dual handlebar stem.

The dual aluminium alloy handlebar stem is designed to reduce flex and provide more stable control of the Wheely J2 Max. The frame is made from carbon steel, creating a robust foundation for this electric scooter and its recommended maximum load of 120 kg. The wide construction gives a stable riding feel, while the integrated hook offers a practical spot for lighter items. The net weight is 28.7 kg, reflecting the model's powerful motor, large battery and reinforced frame. The model is therefore best suited to riders who prioritise stability and performance over low weight.

Foldable electric scooter for easier storage.

The Wheely J2 Max measures approximately 1250 x 650 x 1300 mm when unfolded. Folded, the height is approximately 600 mm while the length remains approximately 1250 mm. The folding mechanism makes this electric scooter easier to store in a cupboard, garage or larger car boot. It is however relatively heavy and should not be considered a model for regular carrying up stairs. The package includes the Wheely J2 Max, charger, user manual and tool kit, giving you the essentials for assembly and basic maintenance.

Choose the Wheely J2 Max for longer and more powerful rides.

The Wheely J2 Max combines a powerful 1200W motor, a 48V 18.2Ah battery and up to 55 km range with large off-road tyres and front and rear suspension. Dual disc brakes, clear lighting and a smart display provide better control throughout the journey. The foldable design also makes this electric scooter easier to store between rides. Order the Wheely J2 Max from Wheelyshop and choose a robust electric scooter with high capacity, practical features and a 2-year warranty.

Laws & rules

EU-wide rules
  • Electric bikes: under Regulation (EU) 168/2013 a pedal-assisted bike with a motor of max 250 W that cuts out at 25 km/h is a bicycle in every EU country – no registration, licence or insurance. Anything more powerful or faster is a moped (L1e) with type approval, registration, licence, insurance and helmet requirements.
  • Electric scooters: e-scooters are excluded from the EU regulation, so each country sets its own rules on speed, power, minimum age, helmets, insurance and registration. In most countries the limit is 20–25 km/h.
  • More powerful models: a scooter that exceeds your country’s limits may only be used on private or enclosed land.
