Product description

Wheely J18 – powerful electric scooter for the city and longer rides.

Wheely J18 is a powerful electric scooter for riders who want to combine everyday commuting with high comfort and capacity for varied surfaces. The rear-wheel-drive 1200W motor is combined with a 48V 18Ah battery and a range of up to 55 km. With 10-inch tubeless off-road tyres, front and rear suspension and mechanical disc brakes on both wheels, you get a stable and well-equipped electric scooter for both city riding and longer rides. The J18 is also foldable and equipped with three riding modes, app connectivity, Bluetooth, NFC, turn signals and front, rear and ambient lighting.

1200W motor with rear-wheel drive.

The Wheely J18 is powered by a 1200W motor in the rear wheel. Rear-wheel drive provides direct power transfer and contributes to a stable riding experience when accelerating, riding uphill and on varied surfaces.

The maximum speed is up to 50 km/h and the climbing ability is up to 15 degrees. The combination of a powerful motor and rear-wheel drive makes the J18 a good choice for riders who want more performance than a simpler electric scooter offers. Speed and use on public roads must always comply with applicable local rules.

ECO, STD and TURBO – three riding modes.

The Wheely J18 has three riding modes: ECO, STD and TURBO. ECO suits when you want to prioritise calmer riding and more efficient battery use. STD offers a balanced combination of power and range for everyday riding.

TURBO gives more direct response when you want to use more of the motor's performance. The three riding modes make it easy to adapt the electric scooter to traffic, terrain and preferred riding style.

48V 18Ah battery with up to 55 km range.

The Wheely J18 is equipped with an integrated 48V 18Ah battery that provides a range of up to 55 km per charge. The battery is placed low in the structure, which contributes to stable weight distribution while riding.

The actual range is affected by factors such as rider weight, speed, riding mode, temperature, terrain and gradient. Charging time is approximately 8–9 hours.

The battery system has protection against overcharging, temperature problems and short circuits, providing an extra layer of safety during normal use and charging.

10-inch tubeless off-road tyres.

The Wheely J18 is equipped with 10-inch air-filled tubeless tyres with a coarse off-road tread pattern. The tyres provide a good contact surface with the ground and are suited to both asphalt and rougher surfaces.

The slip-reducing rubber surface contributes to better grip, while the puncture-resistant construction reduces the risk of unplanned stops. The tyres are suitable for riding on, for example, city roads, gravel, soil and other uneven surfaces.

Front and rear suspension for better comfort.

The Wheely J18 has suspension at both the front and rear. The dual suspension system helps absorb vibrations and shocks from uneven asphalt, gravel and other less even surfaces.

Together with the large 10-inch pneumatic tyres, the suspension contributes to a more comfortable and controlled riding experience, especially over longer distances and on roads with poorer surfaces.

Mechanical disc brakes front and rear.

The Wheely J18 is equipped with mechanical disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels. Braking force on both wheels gives better control when braking and makes it easier to adapt speed to traffic and surface.

The braking system is complemented by the wide tyres and the front and rear suspension, providing a stable whole for both everyday commuting and more varied riding.

Front light, rear light and integrated turn signals.

The Wheely J18 has a front light and rear light that improve visibility when riding in the dark and in poor lighting conditions.

Integrated turn signals make it possible to clearly signal which direction you plan to turn. The model also has ambient lighting that complements the electric scooter's modern design and visibility.

Bluetooth, app connectivity and NFC.

The Wheely J18 has Bluetooth and support for connecting to a compatible mobile app. This makes it possible to use the electric scooter's connected features directly from your phone.

NFC technology is also integrated and an NFC card is included in the package. This provides a smooth and modern solution for accessing the electric scooter.

IPX5 for better protection against water.

The Wheely J18 has an IPX5 rating, which means the electric scooter is protected against water jets from different directions.

IPX5 does not mean the model is fully waterproof. Deep puddles and submersion of electrical components should therefore be avoided.

Foldable construction in three steps.

The Wheely J18 has a practical 3-step folding mechanism that makes it easy to fold down the stem when the electric scooter is to be transported or stored.

In ride-ready position the J18 measures approximately 1200 x 610 x 1270 mm. When folded, the length is approximately 1200 mm and the height approximately 570 mm. The integrated hook makes the design even more practical for transport and storage.

Robust construction for up to 120 kg.

The Wheely J18 combines an aluminium alloy stem with a high-carbon steel battery compartment. The construction provides a stable foundation for the motor, battery, braking system and dual suspension.

The net weight is approximately 27 kg and the gross weight approximately 31.5 kg. The maximum load is 120 kg and the recommended rider height is approximately 160–190 cm. The packaging dimensions are approximately 119 x 25.5 x 62 cm.

Wheely J18 for powerful and flexible riding.

The Wheely J18 combines a 1200W rear-wheel motor with a 48V 18Ah battery and up to 55 km range. With a top speed of up to 50 km/h, climbing ability of up to 15 degrees, three riding modes, 10-inch tubeless off-road tyres and front and rear suspension, you get an electric scooter that works for both everyday use and longer journeys.

Mechanical disc brakes front and rear, Bluetooth, app connectivity, NFC, integrated turn signals, front and rear lighting, ambient light, IPX5 and a foldable construction complete the equipment. The package includes the Wheely J18, charger, user manual, tool kit and NFC card. Order the Wheely J18 from Wheelyshop if you are looking for a powerful and foldable electric scooter with long range and well-thought-out equipment.

Laws & rules

EU-wide rules
  • Electric bikes: under Regulation (EU) 168/2013 a pedal-assisted bike with a motor of max 250 W that cuts out at 25 km/h is a bicycle in every EU country – no registration, licence or insurance. Anything more powerful or faster is a moped (L1e) with type approval, registration, licence, insurance and helmet requirements.
  • Electric scooters: e-scooters are excluded from the EU regulation, so each country sets its own rules on speed, power, minimum age, helmets, insurance and registration. In most countries the limit is 20–25 km/h.
  • More powerful models: a scooter that exceeds your country’s limits may only be used on private or enclosed land.
