The VARUN S20-1 Plus is a versatile electric bike that combines power, comfort, and smart design in one and the same package. Whether you commute in the city or want to explore gravel roads and forest trails, this foldable electric bike delivers a stable and reliable riding experience. With its powerful motor, long range, and robust construction, it's a perfect choice for anyone looking for a flexible and eco-friendly transportation solution.

Powerful motor for smooth and responsive riding.

With a brushless 500W motor and a maximum output of 750W, you get an electric bike that delivers both power and control. The acceleration is smooth and responsive, making it easy to climb steep hills with a climbing ability of up to 28 degrees. The high torque level of 55 Nm gives you extra power when you need it most, whether you're riding in city traffic or in more challenging terrain.

Long range for worry-free commuting.

The VARUN S20-1 Plus is equipped with a removable 48V 13Ah battery that gives you the freedom to ride longer distances without interruption. In pure electric mode, you reach up to 40–45 km, while pedal assist provides an impressive range of up to 100 km. Perfect for daily commuting or longer outings where you want to minimize charging stops and maximize your freedom.

Foldable design for easy transport and storage.

The smart foldable construction makes this electric bike easy to bring in the car, on the train, or to store in smaller spaces. Despite its robust aluminium build quality, it's designed to be practical in everyday life. The adjustable handlebars and saddle let you easily adapt the bike to your height and riding style for optimal comfort.

Comfort in every detail with dual suspension.

For a smooth and pleasant riding experience, the VARUN S20-1 Plus is equipped with both front and rear suspension. The lockable front fork effectively absorbs shocks from uneven surfaces, while the rear suspension provides extra stability and comfort. Together they create a balanced ride that lets you enjoy both city streets and off-road adventures without compromise.

Shimano 7 gears for flexible riding.

The integrated Shimano 7-speed drivetrain makes it easy to adapt your ride to the terrain. Combine this with five different assist modes and you get full control over your speed and energy consumption. Whether you want to save battery or get maximum power on uphill climbs, this electric bike gives you the right tools.

Safety and control in all situations.

With dual mechanical disc brakes, you get reliable braking power even in wet and slippery conditions. The powerful front and rear lighting ensures you're clearly visible in traffic, both day and night. In addition, the bike has an IP65 rating, which means it's protected against dust and water – perfect for Nordic weather conditions.

Designed for everyday needs.

The VARUN S20-1 Plus is not only powerful but also practical. The rear luggage rack handles up to 50 kg, making it ideal for shopping, work, or transporting equipment. The ergonomic saddle with shock absorption provides high comfort even on longer rides, and the ignition key gives extra security when the bike is parked.

An electric bike that adapts to your lifestyle.

With features like cruise control, multiple riding modes, and adjustable components, this is an electric bike that truly adapts to your needs. It's just as suitable for beginners as it is for experienced users who want a reliable and powerful solution for daily transportation or leisure.

Laws & rules

EU-wide rules
  • Electric bikes: under Regulation (EU) 168/2013 a pedal-assisted bike with a motor of max 250 W that cuts out at 25 km/h is a bicycle in every EU country – no registration, licence or insurance. Anything more powerful or faster is a moped (L1e) with type approval, registration, licence, insurance and helmet requirements.
  • Electric scooters: e-scooters are excluded from the EU regulation, so each country sets its own rules on speed, power, minimum age, helmets, insurance and registration. In most countries the limit is 20–25 km/h.
  • More powerful models: a scooter that exceeds your country’s limits may only be used on private or enclosed land.
