Product description

RACCEWAY E-BABETA 2 – electric moped with pedals and long range.

RACCEWAY E-BABETA 2 is a modern electric moped that combines classic design with practical technology for comfortable everyday rides. With a brushless 350W motor, a removable 48V 20Ah lithium battery and a range of up to 60 km, the model suits both daily commuting and shorter leisure rides. The electronically limited top speed is 25 km/h. Front and rear suspension, 16-inch pneumatic tyres, traditional pedals and a comfortable saddle provide a stable riding experience. E-BABETA 2 is also equipped with LED lighting, turn signals, an electric horn and a remote-controlled anti-theft alarm.

350W brushless motor with efficient electric drive.

RACCEWAY E-BABETA 2 is powered by a brushless 350W electric motor located in the rear wheel. The motor provides smooth power delivery and quiet operation, which makes the moped practical for daily trips through urban areas and residential neighbourhoods.

The maximum speed is electronically limited to 25 km/h. The motor has a stated climbing ability of up to 8 degrees and provides comfortable assistance when accelerating and riding on gentler hills.

The moped also has traditional pedals that make it possible to pedal yourself. Together with three riding modes, this gives flexibility for different riding situations.

48V 20Ah lithium battery with a range of up to 60 km.

E-BABETA 2 is equipped with a 48V 20Ah lithium battery with an energy capacity of 960 Wh. The maximum stated range is up to approximately 60 km per charge, which gives good capacity for both daily errands and longer commuting distances.

The battery is removable and can easily be taken indoors for charging. A full charge takes approximately 4–6 hours, depending on the battery's current charge level.

The actual range is affected by the rider's weight, speed, temperature, road conditions and riding style.

Front and rear suspension with 16-inch pneumatic tyres.

RACCEWAY E-BABETA 2 has shock absorption at both the front and rear to reduce vibrations and impacts from uneven roads. The suspension provides better comfort when riding on asphalt, minor bumps and gravel roads.

The 16-inch air-filled tyres contribute to stability and good rolling comfort. The combination of suspension, pneumatic tyres and an upright riding position makes the moped comfortable even on longer trips.

The spacious saddle has a seat height of approximately 810 mm and provides a relaxed riding position.

Hydraulic disc brake at the front and drum brake at the rear.

E-BABETA 2 is equipped with a hydraulic disc brake on the front wheel and a drum brake on the rear wheel. The braking system provides controlled braking force and helps the rider adjust speed to traffic and road conditions.

Together with the large pneumatic tyres and the suspension, the braking system contributes to stable and predictable handling in everyday riding.

LED lighting, turn signals and electric horn.

RACCEWAY E-BABETA 2 has energy-efficient LED lighting at the front and rear. The headlight improves visibility in darker conditions, while the rear light makes the moped more visible to other road users.

The model also has turn signals, an electric horn and rear-view mirrors. These features make the moped practical in city traffic and other environments where clear communication with other road users is important.

Remote-controlled anti-theft alarm and keyless start.

RACCEWAY E-BABETA 2 has an integrated anti-theft alarm controlled with the included remote control. The alarm can be activated and deactivated remotely for extra protection when the moped is parked.

The remote control also has a search function that helps you find the moped by means of an audible signal. It can also be used to switch on the power supply without an ignition key and to switch off an activated alarm.

The moped can also be used with a regular ignition key.

Practical construction with up to 150 kg load capacity.

E-BABETA 2 has a compact and stable construction with dimensions of approximately 1690 x 790 x 1035 mm. The net weight is approximately 49 kg and the maximum load capacity is 150 kg.

The moped has traditional pedals, mudguards and a comfortable saddle. It is mainly intended for one rider and combines a classic moped feel with modern electric features.

RACCEWAY E-BABETA 2 for comfortable everyday rides.

RACCEWAY E-BABETA 2 combines a brushless 350W rear-wheel motor with a removable 48V 20Ah lithium battery and a range of up to 60 km. Laws & rules

EU-wide rules
  • Electric bikes: under Regulation (EU) 168/2013 a pedal-assisted bike with a motor of max 250 W that cuts out at 25 km/h is a bicycle in every EU country – no registration, licence or insurance. Anything more powerful or faster is a moped (L1e) with type approval, registration, licence, insurance and helmet requirements.
  • Electric scooters: e-scooters are excluded from the EU regulation, so each country sets its own rules on speed, power, minimum age, helmets, insurance and registration. In most countries the limit is 20–25 km/h.
  • More powerful models: a scooter that exceeds your country’s limits may only be used on private or enclosed land.
