Product description

RACCEWAY E-BABETA – electric moped with pedals and comfortable riding.

RACCEWAY E-BABETA combines classic moped design with modern electric drive and practical pedals. With a 350W motor, a removable 48V 12Ah battery and a range of up to 45 km, the model is a convenient option for shorter trips and daily commuting. The maximum speed is limited to 25 km/h. Front and rear suspension, 18-inch pneumatic tyres, a comfortable saddle and a complete lighting system contribute to a stable and pleasant riding experience. E-BABETA also has a remote-controlled anti-theft alarm, key start and an electric horn.

350W motor with up to 500W maximum power.

RACCEWAY E-BABETA is powered by a brushless 350W electric motor located in the rear wheel. The motor has a maximum power of up to 500W and delivers smooth power transmission for comfortable riding in urban environments.

The top speed is electronically limited to 25 km/h. The electric drive provides quiet operation and direct response when accelerating, which makes E-BABETA practical for everyday trips.

The model also has traditional pedals that make it possible to pedal yourself. The combination of electric drive and pedals provides flexibility when you want to vary how you get around.

48V 12Ah battery with up to 45 km range.

RACCEWAY E-BABETA is equipped with a 48V 12Ah lead battery with an energy capacity of 576 Wh. The maximum stated range is up to approximately 45 km per charge, which suits daily errands and shorter commuting distances.

The battery is removable and can be taken indoors for charging. It weighs approximately 18 kg and a full charge takes about 4–6 hours with the included charger.

The actual range varies depending on the rider's weight, speed, temperature, road conditions and riding style.

Front and rear suspension with 18-inch pneumatic tyres.

E-BABETA has a suspension system with shock absorption at both the front and rear. The suspension helps reduce vibrations and impacts from uneven asphalt, small potholes and gravel roads.

The large 18-inch air-filled tyres provide good rolling comfort and stability while riding. The combination of suspension and pneumatic tyres makes the model comfortable even when the road surface varies.

The spacious saddle and the upright riding position further contribute to a relaxed riding experience.

Hydraulic disc brake at the front and drum brake at the rear.

RACCEWAY E-BABETA is equipped with a hydraulic disc brake on the front wheel and a drum brake on the rear wheel. The braking system provides controlled braking force and helps the rider adjust speed to traffic and road conditions.

The stable construction, the large wheels and the suspension together contribute to safer and more predictable handling in everyday use.

LED lighting, turn signals and electric horn.

E-BABETA has energy-efficient LED lighting at both the front and rear. The headlight provides good visibility in the dark, while the rear light improves visibility for other road users.

The model is also equipped with turn signals, an electric horn and rear-view mirrors. An LCD display makes it easy to follow important riding information while riding.

Remote-controlled anti-theft alarm and keyless start.

RACCEWAY E-BABETA has an integrated anti-theft alarm that can be activated with the included remote control. The alarm provides extra protection when the vehicle is parked.

The remote control also has a search function that activates the siren for a few seconds, as well as the option of keyless start with two button presses. E-BABETA can also be started with a regular ignition key.

Practical construction for everyday use.

RACCEWAY E-BABETA has a compact construction with dimensions of approximately 1690 x 790 x 1320 mm. The net weight is approximately 66 kg and the maximum load capacity is 120 kg.

The seat height is approximately 810 mm. The model also has a practical storage space at the front, a hook, mudguards and a centre stand that make it easy to park.

RACCEWAY E-BABETA for convenient everyday trips.

RACCEWAY E-BABETA combines a 350W brushless motor with up to 500W maximum power, a removable 48V 12Ah battery and up to 45 km range. An electronically limited top speed of 25 km/h, traditional pedals, dual suspension and 18-inch pneumatic tyres provide a practical combination of comfort and flexibility.

Hydraulic front brake, rear drum brake, LED lighting, turn signals, electric horn and remote-controlled anti-theft alarm complete the equipment.

The package includes RACCEWAY E-BABETA, removable lead battery, charger, pedals, keys, remote control, assembly tools, screws and user manual.

Laws & rules

EU-wide rules
  • Electric bikes: under Regulation (EU) 168/2013 a pedal-assisted bike with a motor of max 250 W that cuts out at 25 km/h is a bicycle in every EU country – no registration, licence or insurance. Anything more powerful or faster is a moped (L1e) with type approval, registration, licence, insurance and helmet requirements.
  • Electric scooters: e-scooters are excluded from the EU regulation, so each country sets its own rules on speed, power, minimum age, helmets, insurance and registration. In most countries the limit is 20–25 km/h.
  • More powerful models: a scooter that exceeds your country’s limits may only be used on private or enclosed land.
