Product description

OneSport OT05 Max – electric bike with extra-long range.

The OneSport OT05 Max is a well-equipped electric bike for riders who want to combine long range with comfortable, natural pedal assistance. The rear-wheel 250W motor works together with a torque sensor that adapts the assistance to how hard you pedal. A large removable 36V 22.5Ah battery provides approximately 130–140 km of range with pedal assistance. Shimano 7-speed gears, hydraulic disc brakes, front suspension and 700C x 50C KENDA tyres make the OT05 Max a complete electric bike for commuting, longer everyday trips and leisure rides.

250W rear-wheel motor with 40 Nm of torque.

The OneSport OT05 Max is powered by a 36V 250W brushless ANANDA motor located at the rear wheel. The motor delivers 40 Nm of torque and provides electric assistance up to 25 km/h.

The rear-wheel drive provides direct power transfer as you pedal and works well for both city riding and longer distances. The maximum climbing ability is up to 30 degrees. The speed limit is 25 km/h and the model does not support unlocking a higher top speed.

The OT05 Max has no throttle. The motor is therefore activated through pedal assistance, and the bike does not support riding with a throttle.

Torque sensor for more natural pedal assistance.

One of the most important features of the OT05 Max is the torque sensor. It senses the force you apply to the pedals and adjusts the motor assistance to your pedalling.

When you pedal harder, the motor can provide more support, while lighter pedalling gives smoother assistance. This creates a more natural feel compared with simpler sensor systems and makes it easier to control how much electric help you get while riding.

Two riding modes for flexible cycling.

The OneSport OT05 Max has two riding modes: Pedal Assist Mode and Normal Bike Mode. In Pedal Assist Mode, the 250W motor works together with the torque sensor to help you as you pedal.

In Normal Bike Mode, the OT05 Max can be used as an ordinary bicycle without electric motor assistance. You can therefore easily choose between electric help and traditional cycling depending on distance, battery level and how much you want to pedal yourself.

36V 22.5Ah battery with 130–140 km of range.

The OT05 Max is equipped with a large 36V 22.5Ah lithium-ion battery built with 21700 battery cells. The range is approximately 130–140 km with pedal assistance, which makes the model especially interesting for riders who want to cycle longer between charges.

The battery is removable and weighs approximately 5 kg. This makes it possible to take the battery indoors for charging without having to move the whole electric bike.

The actual range is affected by factors such as rider weight, assistance level, terrain, temperature, wind, tyre pressure and how much you pedal yourself.

42V 3A charger with 6–8 hours of charging.

The OneSport OT05 Max comes with a 42V 3A charger that supports 110–240V input voltage. Charging time is approximately 6–8 hours depending on the battery's current charge level.

The combination of a large 22.5Ah battery and a 3A charger makes it possible to charge the bike overnight, for example, and have capacity for longer rides the next day.

Shimano 7-speed gears for varied terrain.

The OT05 Max is equipped with a Shimano 7-speed transmission. The mechanical gears make it easy to adjust pedalling resistance to speed, gradient and riding conditions.

A lighter gear works well when starting off and on uphill climbs, while heavier gears make it more comfortable to maintain a higher pace on flat roads. Shimano 7-speed gears together with the torque sensor provide a flexible riding experience even when motor assistance is used.

Front suspension with 80 mm of travel.

The OneSport OT05 Max has a front shock-absorbing aluminium alloy fork with 80 mm of travel. The suspension helps reduce vibrations and bumps from uneven asphalt, kerbs and other irregularities.

Together with the large air-filled tyres, the front suspension contributes to more comfortable and controlled cycling, especially over longer distances.

KENDA 700C x 50C air-filled tyres.

The OT05 Max uses KENDA 700C x 50C road tyres, roughly equivalent to 27.5 x 2.25 inches. The air-filled tyres provide a good combination of stability, rolling comfort and contact area with the road.

The wider 50C profile gives more comfort than narrower traditional city tyres and works well on asphalt, cycle paths and everyday roads with somewhat uneven surfaces.

Hydraulic disc brakes front and rear.

The OneSport OT05 Max is equipped with XOD two-piston hydraulic disc brakes. The braking system is fitted both front and rear and uses 180 x 2.3 mm brake discs.

Hydraulic disc brakes provide a smooth and controlled braking feel and require less force at the brake levers than simpler mechanical systems. This is particularly well suited to an electric bike built for longer distances and a total load of up to 120 kg.

Bluetooth, app connection and colour display.

The OT05 Max has a TW35 colour display with Bluetooth and support for connecting to a compatible mobile app. This makes it possible to connect the electric bike to your phone and use the model's digital features.

The clear colour display and Bluetooth connection complement the torque sensor and the electric drive system and give the OT05 Max a modern rider environment.

USB charging port for everyday electronics.

The OneSport OT05 Max is equipped with a USB charging port. It makes it possible to connect compatible devices on the go and is especially handy when you use your mobile phone for navigation or on longer bike rides.

The USB charging port is included with the other equipment and makes the model more practical for daily commuting and longer outings.

Front light and brake-activated rear light.

The OT05 Max has both a front light and a rear light. The front light improves visibility ahead of the bike in the dark, while the K-Mark rear light contributes to better visibility from behind.

The rear light also has a brake light function and reacts when you brake. However, the model has no turn signal function.

Aluminium frame and practical everyday equipment.

The OneSport OT05 Max has an aluminium alloy frame and is not foldable. The bike measures approximately 1900 x 670 x 1150 mm and the net weight is approximately 29 kg. Maximum load is 120 kg and the recommended rider height is approximately 160–200 cm.

Full-size iron mudguards front and rear help reduce splashes from wet and dirty roads. The rear luggage rack also provides practical space for compatible luggage and accessories. The OT05 Max has an IPX5 rating for better protection against water during normal everyday use.

OneSport OT05 Max for long and comfortable bike rides.

The OneSport OT05 Max combines a 250W ANANDA rear-wheel motor with 40 Nm of torque, a torque sensor and a large 36V 22.5Ah battery with approximately 130–140 km of range. Shimano 7-speed gears, 80 mm front suspension, KENDA 700C x 50C tyres and hydraulic disc brakes front and rear make a well-thought-out combination for both commuting and longer trips.

Bluetooth, app connection, colour display, USB charging port, front light, brake-activated rear light, removable battery and luggage rack complete the equipment. The package includes the OneSport OT05 Max, 42V 3A charger, multifunctional assembly tool, bag with phone holder, air pump, user manual, luggage rack, wheel light strip, bicycle bell and USB charging port. Order the OneSport OT05 Max from Wheelyshop if you are looking for an electric bike with extra-long range, natural pedal assistance and equipment for comfortable everyday cycling.

Laws & rules

EU-wide rules
  • Electric bikes: under Regulation (EU) 168/2013 a pedal-assisted bike with a motor of max 250 W that cuts out at 25 km/h is a bicycle in every EU country – no registration, licence or insurance. Anything more powerful or faster is a moped (L1e) with type approval, registration, licence, insurance and helmet requirements.
  • Electric scooters: e-scooters are excluded from the EU regulation, so each country sets its own rules on speed, power, minimum age, helmets, insurance and registration. In most countries the limit is 20–25 km/h.
  • More powerful models: a scooter that exceeds your country’s limits may only be used on private or enclosed land.
