Product description

Powerful electric bike for longer everyday journeys.

The LOOKROAD L28 Max is a powerful electric bike for those who want to commute further, ride comfortably and reduce their reliance on the car day to day. The combination of a 750W motor, a large 48V 30Ah battery and 27.5-inch pneumatic off-road tyres makes the model well suited to both urban traffic and more varied terrain. The upright riding position gives good all-round visibility, while the front suspension fork contributes to a more comfortable ride. This electric bike is equally well suited to commuting and errands as to longer trips on tarmac, gravel roads and easier off-road terrain.

750W motor with 65Nm of torque.

The 750W nominal motor output gives the LOOKROAD L28 Max fast response and stable power when the road starts to climb. With 65Nm of torque, this electric bike is better equipped to handle hills, additional loads and changing riding conditions without feeling sluggish. The stated climbing ability is up to 30 degrees. The top speed is stated as 45 km/h, while the bike is fitted with a 25 km/h speed limiter. Always follow the applicable rules for where and how the electric bike may be used.

48V 30Ah battery for up to 160 km.

The removable 48V 30Ah battery gives this electric bike a long range and reduces the need for frequent charging stops. According to the product information, the LOOKROAD L28 Max can reach up to 160 km with pedal assistance and up to 120 km in pure electric mode. Actual range is affected by weight, temperature, terrain, speed and selected assistance level, among other factors. The battery uses EVE cells and has protection against overcurrent, overcharging, temperature changes and short circuits. Charging time is approximately eight to nine hours with the included 54.6V 3A charger.

Comfortable electric bike on tarmac and gravel.

The front suspension fork helps the LOOKROAD L28 Max absorb minor bumps and vibrations from uneven roads. This gives the electric bike a smoother and more controlled feel on longer rides, especially on cobblestones, gravel and rougher cycle paths. The 27.5 x 2.25-inch pneumatic off-road tyres offer a generous contact area and contribute to stability on varied terrain. The saddle and upright riding position are designed for everyday comfort, making the model a practical choice for both daily commuting and longer weekend rides.

Hydraulic brakes for safe control.

The LOOKROAD L28 Max has hydraulic disc brakes front and rear. The system gives this electric bike consistent braking force and fast response when you need to reduce speed or stop in a controlled manner. Hydraulic brakes require less hand effort than simpler mechanical systems and perform well in both everyday urban riding and under greater demand. Together with the wide tyres and robust steel frame, you get an electric bike that feels predictable when the terrain changes. The brakes also offer better conditions for safe riding when the bike is used with luggage on the rear rack.

7-speed Shimano gearing for the right pace.

The mechanical Shimano system with seven gears helps you adapt pedalling resistance to the terrain, speed and assistance level. This electric bike therefore becomes more comfortable to use both on climbs and on longer flat stretches. A lower gear makes starting and climbing easier, while a higher gear provides a more natural pedalling cadence as speed increases. The LOOKROAD L28 Max also has five levels of pedal assistance and a speed sensor, so you can choose how much help the motor provides and tailor the bike to the ride ahead.

Smart display and practical features.

The clear LCD display shows important riding information such as speed, battery level, assistance mode and distance covered. The display on this electric bike is easy to read and has an integrated Type-C port for charging compatible mobile devices. The LOOKROAD L28 Max is also fitted with an electric horn, ignition key and cruise control. The LED front light improves visibility in low light, while the rear light has a brake warning function that makes deceleration more visible to other road users. The IP54 rating gives the electric bike protection against dust and water splashes in normal use.

Load capacity for commuting and errands.

The integrated rear rack can carry up to 25 kg according to the product information, making this electric bike useful for more than just transporting the rider. You can add a compatible pannier bag, basket or other secure cargo solution for work equipment, groceries and smaller packages. The recommended maximum rider weight is 100 kg and the model suits cyclists from approximately 160 cm. The LOOKROAD L28 Max weighs 31 kg and has dimensions of 1820 x 700 x 1100 mm. The steel frame is not foldable, which contributes to a solid construction but requires adequate storage space.

Choose the LOOKROAD L28 Max for longer rides.

The LOOKROAD L28 Max is an electric bike for those who prioritise long range, a powerful motor and practical equipment. The package includes the electric bike, removable battery, charger, keys, tool kit, display, pedals and user manual. The combination of hydraulic brakes, 7-speed Shimano gearing, front suspension fork, clear LCD display and a 48V 30Ah battery makes the model ready for demanding everyday journeys. Laws & rules

Electric scooter
An electric scooter is considered a bicycle if it has a maximum speed of 20 km/h and a motor with a maximum of 250 W. However, it is important to note that the limit applies to the continuous (nominal) power – which means that the electric scooter may temporarily have a higher so-called peak power, for example up to 1000 W, as long as the nominal power does not exceed 250 W.

If the electric scooter exceeds 20 km/h in speed or has a motor with a nominal power of more than 250 W, other rules apply. The next classification is Moped class II and then Moped class IThere are technical requirements, such as braking systems, that must be met for an electric scooter to be classified as a moped.

Essentially, if it reaches up to 25 km/h it is considered Moped class II, while if the speed exceeds 40 km/h and the motor is stronger than 250 W, it is classified as Moped class I. For Moped class I, an AM driving license is required, the vehicle must be registered, and a helmet must be worn. Moped class II requires a driver's license and mandatory use of a helmet. If the electric scooter does not meet the requirements for a bicycle, Moped class I or II, it may not to be used on public roads.

Electric bike
For the requirements to apply to an electric bicycle, the motor must be limited to 250 W nominal (continuous) power and only assist pedaling up to 25 km/hThis means that the engine can temporarily deliver a higher so-called peak power, for example up to 1000 W, as long as the nominal power does not exceed 250 W. The electric bike must also be pedaled for the motor to work – it must not be able to drive on its own without the user's pedaling power.

Deviation from these requirements results in the vehicle being classified as moped, which entails other technical requirements, registration requirements, driving license and insurance.

We strongly recommend the use of a helmet, especially if the driver is under 15 years old, although it is not mandatory.
