Product description

HOVSCO HovCart for family, cargo and everyday commuting.

The HOVSCO HovCart is a versatile electric bike for anyone who wants to combine powerful motor assistance with plenty of room for cargo and everyday transport. The motor delivers 750W of nominal output and up to 1200W of peak power, together with 90 Nm of torque. The removable 48V 15Ah battery gives up to 70 km of range with pedal assist. The low frame, the long rear luggage rack and the high maximum load of 204 kg make the HovCart especially practical for family life, shopping and longer commutes. Hydraulic disc brakes, E-ABS, front suspension and 20-inch off-road tyres contribute to a stable and controlled ride.

1200W peak power and 90 Nm for strong drive.

The HOVSCO HovCart is driven by a rear hub motor with 750W of nominal output and up to 1200W of peak power. The 90 Nm of torque gives a strong response when setting off, on hills and when riding with a heavier load. The electric bike handles gradients of up to 30 degrees and has a technical top speed of 45 km/h where such riding is permitted. A speed limiter at 25 km/h is available for adapted use. The combination of high torque and stable geometry makes the HovCart particularly useful when you are carrying cargo or need extra power on hilly routes.

48V 15Ah battery with up to 70 km of range.

The lockable, removable 48V 15Ah battery gives up to 70 km of range with pedal assist. Riding on the throttle alone, the range is up to around 50 km in favourable conditions. The battery can be taken off the bike, which makes it easier to charge at home, at work or in the garage. A full charge takes around 6.5–7.5 hours with the included 54.6V 2A charger. Range is affected by load, speed, terrain, temperature, tyre pressure and how much motor assistance is used.

Two riding modes for flexible everyday use.

The HOVSCO HovCart has two main riding modes that give you flexibility between motor-assisted cycling and more active pedalling. You can adjust the assistance to how much effort you want to put in and how long the journey is. The system offers several assist levels for fine-tuning speed and response, so it is easy to find a setting that suits both relaxed city riding and longer trips. The combination of pedal assist and a strong motor makes the HovCart useful for both everyday commuting and heavier transport tasks.

Long rear luggage rack for cargo and family life.

The extended rear luggage rack is a central part of the HOVSCO HovCart. Its construction provides extra space for everyday cargo and the included accessories, such as the seat cushion and child seat. The maximum recommended load for the whole bike is 204 kg, which gives good capacity for rider and cargo within the product's permitted limits. The low centre of gravity and rear-weighted construction help create a stable feel even when the bike is used with more load. Always check local regulations and use approved passenger and child-carrying solutions where required.

Front suspension for a more comfortable ride.

The HOVSCO HovCart has front suspension that helps absorb shocks from uneven tarmac, gravel, joints and smaller potholes. This gives a softer feel in the handlebars and helps the front wheel keep better contact with the surface. For an electric bike built for both commuting and transport, the front suspension is particularly valuable when the bike is loaded. Together with the wide air-filled tyres, it contributes to a more stable and comfort-oriented ride.

20-inch off-road tyres for grip and stability.

The HovCart rolls on 20 x 3-inch air-filled tyres with an off-road profile. The wider tyre surface gives stable contact with the ground and extra grip on gravel, uneven tarmac and other varying road types. The air-filled tyres also help absorb smaller vibrations before they reach the frame. The combination of wide tyres, a low frame and a strong rear hub motor gives the bike a safe and stable character for both everyday riding and carrying cargo.

Hydraulic disc brakes with E-ABS.

The HOVSCO HovCart is equipped with hydraulic disc brakes front and rear together with E-ABS. The braking system delivers strong, controllable braking force and suits an electric bike with high load capacity and a powerful motor. Hydraulic brakes require less hand force than many mechanical systems and give a more direct feel in the levers. E-ABS complements the braking electronically and contributes to better control during harder braking.

7 speeds for more efficient pedalling.

The 7-speed system makes it easier to adapt your pedalling to the terrain and the load. A lighter gear works well on climbs or when the bike is heavily loaded, while higher gears work better on flat stretches. The gears work together with the motor assistance and make it possible to keep a comfortable cadence on longer journeys. They also give a more classic bicycle feel when you want to use more of your own power.

LCD display and app for better control.

The LCD display shows important riding information such as speed, battery level, distance and assist level directly at the handlebars. The HOVSCO HovCart also has app support, which lets you follow ride data and sync information from the electric bike. This makes it easier to keep track of battery status and journeys during both everyday commuting and longer rides. The clear display means basic information is always available without having to use your phone while riding.

LED lighting, indicators and IPX4.

The HOVSCO HovCart has front and rear lighting as well as integrated indicators. The headlight helps you see better when the light fades, while the rear light and indicators make the bike more visible to others. The IPX4 rating provides protection against water splashes from different directions and suits normal everyday use in varying weather. IPX4 does not, however, mean that the electric bike is fully waterproof or should be submerged or exposed to strong jets of water.

Robust aluminium frame with 204 kg maximum load.

The HOVSCO HovCart has an aluminium alloy frame and weighs 34.1 kg. The recommended rider height is around 150–190 cm and the unfolded dimensions are 1730 x 700 x 1160 mm. The low frame shape makes it easier to get on and off, while the long rear section provides plenty of room for transport solutions. The combination of a low centre of gravity, high load capacity and a strong motor makes this model especially interesting for anyone who wants to replace more short car journeys with an electric bike.

Check the rules before riding within the EU.

The HOVSCO HovCart has a higher peak power and design speed than a standard-class electric bike within the EU. A speed limiter at 25 km/h does not automatically mean that the model receives the same legal classification as a regular electric bike. Rules on motor power, passengers, insurance, registration and use on public roads vary between EU countries. Always check local regulations before riding and use the higher performance modes only where such use is permitted.

Choose the HOVSCO HovCart for power, load capacity and everyday practicality.

The HOVSCO HovCart combines 750W of nominal motor output, up to 1200W of peak power and 90 Nm of torque with a 48V 15Ah battery and up to 70 km of range. Add a maximum load of 204 kg, a long rear luggage rack, front suspension, hydraulic disc brakes with E-ABS and wide 20-inch off-road tyres, and you get a practical electric bike for family life, commuting and transport. Order the HOVSCO HovCart at Wheelyshop and choose an electric bike built to make more of your everyday journeys easier.

Laws & rules

Electric scooters (e-scooters)
Rules for e-scooters are not fully harmonised across the EU – each member state sets its own requirements. In most EU countries, e-scooters are limited to a top speed of 20–25 km/h for use on public roads, and some countries also require type approval, insurance or a minimum age. Models that exceed the national limits – for example with higher top speeds or stronger motors – may generally only be used on private property. Always check the current rules with the national transport authority in your country before riding on public roads.

Electric bikes (pedelecs)
Across the EU, an electric bike is treated as a regular bicycle if the motor has a maximum continuous rated power of 250 W, only assists while you pedal, and cuts out at 25 km/h (EU Regulation 168/2013 and EN 15194). Such pedelecs require no registration, licence or insurance. The motor may temporarily deliver a higher peak output, as long as the continuous rated power does not exceed 250 W.

Faster or more powerful models (such as speed pedelecs with assistance up to 45 km/h) are classified as mopeds (category L1e-B) and are subject to type approval, registration, insurance, helmet and licence requirements that vary by country. Models that do not meet these requirements may only be used on private property.

We strongly recommend wearing a helmet, even where it is not mandatory.
