Product description

HIKERBOY CURTIS DUAL PRO for powerful commuting.

The HIKERBOY CURTIS DUAL PRO is an electric scooter for those who want more power in everyday life without giving up a practical format. The dual motors deliver stable acceleration, while the 10-inch pneumatic tyres and twin front shock absorbers contribute to a more comfortable ride on the varied surfaces of the city. With up to 40 km range, four riding modes and app connectivity, you get a well-equipped electric scooter for commuting, errands and longer everyday journeys.

Dual motors with up to 1000W.

This powerful electric scooter uses two motors with 250W nominal power each. The total nominal motor output is 500W, while the peak power reaches 1000W via two 500W motors. The dual motor system delivers a more responsive feel at start-up and better power when the road climbs. The CURTIS DUAL PRO can handle gradients of up to approximately 14 degrees, equivalent to 25% under suitable conditions.

Four riding modes for better control.

The HIKERBOY CURTIS DUAL PRO offers four riding modes that make it easier to adapt the scooter to traffic, terrain and desired energy consumption. A calmer mode suits heavier traffic and when you want to maximise range. The more responsive modes deliver faster acceleration when conditions allow. The top speed is 25 km/h, making the model well suited to smooth and controlled city riding.

Up to 40 km range.

The 48V 10.4Ah battery gives this electric scooter a range of up to 40 kilometres under favourable conditions. The capacity suits daily commuting and longer trips where you want to avoid charging after every short ride. Real-world range is affected by riding mode, temperature, rider weight, headwind, hills and tyre pressure, among other factors. Maintaining a steady pace allows the battery energy to be used more efficiently.

Practical charging during the working day.

A full charge takes approximately 5.5 hours with the included charger. This means the scooter can be charged during the working day or overnight and be ready for the next journey. The 48V battery system also gives the dual motors the right conditions for consistent power delivery. Always charge the CURTIS DUAL PRO in a dry and ventilated environment and use only a compatible charger intended for the model.

Twin front suspension for greater comfort.

The HIKERBOY CURTIS DUAL PRO has two front spring shock absorbers that help the scooter absorb vibrations from joints, cobblestones and minor bumps. This reduces the load on hands, arms and shoulders during longer rides. The suspension makes a particularly noticeable difference on worn city streets where a rigid front fork can otherwise give a harsher ride. Always adapt speed to the condition of the road surface, even when the suspension smooths things out.

10-inch pneumatic tyres for stable riding.

The pneumatic tyres measure 10 × 2.125 inches and give this electric scooter a good combination of comfort, grip and smooth steering. The pneumatic tyres help cushion small impacts and provide better ground contact than smaller solid wheels. This contributes to a more confident feel in corners and on uneven tarmac. Check tyre pressure regularly as incorrect pressure can affect range, steering response and the risk of punctures.

Dual disc brakes with E-ABS.

The CURTIS DUAL PRO is fitted with a disc brake front and rear as well as electronic E-ABS support on both wheels. The combination gives this electric scooter clear and controlled braking when you need to slow down. The E-ABS helps stabilise the braking process, while the disc brakes provide direct mechanical stopping force. Brake pads, discs and controls should be checked regularly to ensure consistent performance, especially after riding in rain or on dirty roads.

Front and rear turn signals for better visibility.

This electric scooter has separate turn signals both front and rear. The signals make it easier to show other road users where you are heading, especially at junctions and when changing lanes. The CURTIS DUAL PRO also has front and rear lighting for better visibility at dusk and in the dark. The controls sit close to the grips so you can activate functions without large hand movements. Additional reflectors and protective equipment are still recommended when riding in low light.

App connectivity with smart riding information.

The HIKERBOY CURTIS DUAL PRO can be connected to a compatible mobile app. Through the app you can get a better overview of the scooter's status and available settings. This may include riding information, battery status and other functions depending on the app version and phone. The app connectivity complements the scooter's standard display and makes it easier to track usage over time. The phone should not be handled while riding.

IPX5 protection for everyday weather.

With an IPX5 rating, this electric scooter is protected against water splashes in normal use. This makes the CURTIS DUAL PRO better suited to changeable weather, but the model is not waterproof. Avoid deep puddles, flooded roads and cleaning with a pressure washer. After riding in wet conditions the scooter should be dried and stored in a dry place. The integrated construction also helps protect important components and gives a cleaner overall appearance.

Foldable design for easier transport.

The CURTIS DUAL PRO measures 1138 × 570 × 1225 mm when unfolded. When the scooter is folded, the height reduces to 525 mm while the length and width remain 1138 × 570 mm. The compact format makes the model easier to store in the car, a storage room or at the workplace. The recommended rider height is 130–200 cm. Always check that the folding mechanism is fully locked and free of play before you start riding.

Certified and complete on delivery.

The HIKERBOY CURTIS DUAL PRO carries CE, RoHS, MD, RED and UL certification. The package includes the scooter, battery charger, tool kit and user manual. The tools can be used for basic assembly, checking and tightening. Before the first ride you should check the handlebars, folding mechanism, brakes, tyre pressure, lighting and turn signals. Always wear a helmet and follow local regulations for electric scooters.

Laws & rules

EU-wide rules
  • Electric bikes: under Regulation (EU) 168/2013 a pedal-assisted bike with a motor of max 250 W that cuts out at 25 km/h is a bicycle in every EU country – no registration, licence or insurance. Anything more powerful or faster is a moped (L1e) with type approval, registration, licence, insurance and helmet requirements.
  • Electric scooters: e-scooters are excluded from the EU regulation, so each country sets its own rules on speed, power, minimum age, helmets, insurance and registration. In most countries the limit is 20–25 km/h.
  • More powerful models: a scooter that exceeds your country’s limits may only be used on private or enclosed land.
