Speed & motor power.
The ENGWE Engine X offers an impressive speed of up to 25 km/h, with the option to remove the speed limiter and reach a top speed of 42 km/h. To remove the speed limiter, please see the following video. Equipped with a 250W brushless motor, you get both power and efficiency for all types of rides. The motor delivers constant performance, making every trip smooth and trouble-free.
Three riding modes.
To give you maximum flexibility and control, the ENGWE Engine X has three different riding modes: pedal mode, hybrid mode and pure electric mode. Pedal mode lets you use pedal power, hybrid mode combines pedal assist with electric drive, and pure electric mode lets you enjoy a fully electric ride without having to pedal.
Climbing & suspension.
With a climbing capacity of up to 15°, the ENGWE Engine X easily takes you up hills and slopes. In addition, the bike is equipped with both front and rear suspension, ensuring a comfortable and stable ride even on uneven surfaces.
Advanced gear system.
The ENGWE Engine X is equipped with a 7-speed SHIMANO system, giving you the ability to easily adjust your shifting to the terrain and speed. This high-quality gear system ensures a smooth and efficient ride, wherever you are.
Impressive battery range & capacity.
The bike's battery has a capacity of 48V 13Ah, giving you an impressive range of up to 120 km in hybrid mode. The battery is also removable and takes about 6 hours to fully charge, giving you the flexibility to easily take it with you for charging.
Robust & safe construction.
The ENGWE Engine X has a frame made of 6061 aluminium alloy, providing both strength and lightness. The bike also has 20.0" pneumatic tyres, giving excellent grip and stability on all types of surfaces. With two disc brakes front and rear, you get powerful and reliable braking in all situations.
Comfort & functionality.
For your comfort, the ENGWE Engine X is equipped with an ergonomic saddle and adjustable handlebar. It's also foldable, making it easy to store and transport the bike. With an IP54 rating, the bike is also protected against water and dust, making it perfect for all weather conditions.

Home delivery or pickup point
For larger products such as electric scooters and electric bikes, we always offer home delivery straight to your door, completely free of charge. It is the customer's responsibility to be available at the specified address during the delivery window – the carrier will usually contact you in advance to arrange a time.
If you would prefer to collect your parcel at a pickup point, please contact the carrier directly to arrange this.
For standard shipments, if the parcel does not fit in your letterbox, you will receive a notification about collection or a new delivery attempt.

Electric scooters (e-scooters)
Rules for e-scooters are not fully harmonised across the EU – each member state sets its own requirements. In most EU countries, e-scooters are limited to a top speed of 20–25 km/h for use on public roads, and some countries also require type approval, insurance or a minimum age. Models that exceed the national limits – for example with higher top speeds or stronger motors – may generally only be used on private property. Always check the current rules with the national transport authority in your country before riding on public roads.
Electric bikes (pedelecs)
Across the EU, an electric bike is treated as a regular bicycle if the motor has a maximum continuous rated power of 250 W, only assists while you pedal, and cuts out at 25 km/h (EU Regulation 168/2013 and EN 15194). Such pedelecs require no registration, licence or insurance. The motor may temporarily deliver a higher peak output, as long as the continuous rated power does not exceed 250 W.
Faster or more powerful models (such as speed pedelecs with assistance up to 45 km/h) are classified as mopeds (category L1e-B) and are subject to type approval, registration, insurance, helmet and licence requirements that vary by country. Models that do not meet these requirements may only be used on private property.
We strongly recommend wearing a helmet, even where it is not mandatory.
