Product description
Product description
DUOTTS Z20 – powerful retro-design fat bike e-bike.
The DUOTTS Z20 is a retro-inspired e-bike that combines powerful performance with comfort and practical features. With a BAFANG motor with 250W nominal power and up to 750W maximum power, a 48V 15Ah battery and up to 90 km of range, the Z20 suits both daily commuting and longer adventures. The wide 20 x 4.0-inch fat bike tyres, front and rear suspension and hydraulic disc brakes provide stability on varied surfaces. Shimano 7-speed gears, Bluetooth, app connectivity, an LCD display and integrated turn signals complete the modern equipment.
BAFANG motor with 750W maximum power and 55 Nm torque.
The DUOTTS Z20 is powered by a BAFANG rear-hub motor with 250W nominal power and up to 750W maximum power. The motor delivers 55 Nm of torque and provides responsive acceleration as well as extra power on uphill climbs.
The specified top speed is up to 45 km/h and the bike has a speed limit of 25 km/h. The climbing ability is specified as up to 30 degrees, which gives good prospects for hilly roads. Speed and use must always be adapted to applicable traffic rules.
Three riding modes and six assistance levels.
The DUOTTS Z20 offers three riding modes: Pedal Assist Mode, Electric Mode and Normal Bike Mode. Pedal Assist provides electric help when you pedal, Electric Mode enables motor-driven riding with the throttle, and Normal Bike Mode lets you ride without motor assistance.
Pedal assistance has six levels from 0 to 5, where level 0 means assistance is off and levels 1–5 give progressively more motor support. The built-in speed sensor activates the assistance when you pedal and makes it easy to adapt your riding to the terrain and the effort you want.
48V 15Ah battery with up to 90 km of range.
The powerful 48V 15Ah battery gives a range of approximately 80–90 km with pedal assistance and up to approximately 45 km in pure electric mode. The battery is removable and can easily be taken along for charging separately from the bike.
The actual range is affected by the rider's weight, speed, assistance level, temperature and terrain. The battery is charged with the included 54.6V 2A charger and a full charge takes approximately 7–8 hours.
Shimano Tourney 7-speed gears for smooth riding.
The DUOTTS Z20 uses a Shimano Tourney 1×7 gear system with seven mechanical gears. The gears make it easy to adjust the pedalling resistance when starting off, on uphill climbs and over longer stretches on flat roads.
Together with the electric pedal assistance, the Shimano system provides a flexible and comfortable riding experience on both city roads and more varied surfaces.
Front and rear suspension for better comfort.
The Z20 has a full-suspension system with a front suspension fork with 60 mm of travel and an adjustable 750 lb rear shock absorber. The suspension helps absorb bumps and vibrations from uneven asphalt, gravel and minor potholes.
The front suspension is not adjustable and has no lockout function, while the rear shock absorber can be adjusted but not locked. The combination with the large fat bike tyres gives a more comfortable and more controlled ride.
20 x 4.0-inch fat bike tyres for varied terrain.
The DUOTTS Z20 is equipped with wide 20 x 4.0-inch air-filled off-road tyres with 30 TPI construction. The chunky tread pattern provides good grip on asphalt, gravel roads and hard-packed trails.
The tyres have a durable and puncture-resistant design that contributes to longevity and stability. The large air volume also helps absorb minor bumps and makes riding more comfortable on uneven roads.
Hydraulic disc brakes front and rear.
The DUOTTS Z20 has hydraulic disc brakes on both the front and rear wheel with 160 x 1.8 mm brake discs. The braking system provides smooth and controlled braking force with less hand effort than many mechanical alternatives.
Together with the wide fat bike tyres and the suspension, the brakes contribute to better control in both normal riding and harder braking.
300 lux LED headlight, brake light and turn signals.
The Z20 is equipped with a powerful front LED headlight of 300 lux that improves visibility in darker conditions. The manually controlled lighting provides good light on the road ahead of the bike.
The integrated rear light has a brake light function and turn signals that make it possible to signal your direction. The combination of front light, rear light and turn signals contributes to better visibility while riding.
Bluetooth, Duotts App and LCD display.
The DUOTTS Z20 has an LCD display with Bluetooth and support for the Duotts App. The app connection gives access to compatible digital functions via your mobile phone and complements the e-bike's electronic control system.
Retro design with comfortable saddle and practical storage.
The DUOTTS Z20 has a robust aluminium frame, a 72 cm wide aluminium handlebar and a long, padded saddle that provides a comfortable and upright riding position. The distinctive design combines a classic look with modern e-bike technology.
In the middle of the frame there is a spacious storage compartment for smaller personal belongings. The bike also has a steel rear luggage rack with up to 25 kg of load capacity and full-coverage mudguards front and rear that protect against water and dirt.
IPX4 protection and robust construction for up to 150 kg.
The DUOTTS Z20 has an IPX4 rating, which provides protection against water splashes from different directions. This makes the bike practical in varied weather conditions, but it should not be exposed to high-pressure washing or deep puddles.
The maximum load is 150 kg and the recommended rider height is approximately 170–200 cm. The bike measures approximately 1720 x 720 x 1200 mm, has a net weight of approximately 42.65 kg and is not foldable. The operating temperature is specified as -10 °C to 40 °C.
DUOTTS Z20 for comfortable rides and longer adventures.
The DUOTTS Z20 combines a BAFANG motor with up to 750W maximum power, a removable 48V 15Ah battery and up to 90 km of range with pedal assistance. Shimano 7-speed gears, six assistance levels, full suspension, hydraulic disc brakes and 20 x 4.0-inch fat bike tyres provide a stable and comfortable riding experience.
Bluetooth, app connectivity, LCD display, 300 lux headlight, brake light, turn signals and practical storage options make the Z20 a well-equipped e-bike for both everyday use and leisure.
The package includes the DUOTTS Z20, battery, front wheel, luggage rack, 54.6V 2A charger, tool kit with multi-tool, throttle, pedals, quick-release, protective covers for the motor axle, pump and user manual.
Order the DUOTTS Z20 from Wheelyshop if you are looking for a retro-inspired fat bike e-bike with long range, powerful motor assistance and comfortable equipment for both city riding and adventure.

Laws & rules
Laws & rules
EU-wide rules
- Electric bikes: under Regulation (EU) 168/2013 a pedal-assisted bike with a motor of max 250 W that cuts out at 25 km/h is a bicycle in every EU country – no registration, licence or insurance. Anything more powerful or faster is a moped (L1e) with type approval, registration, licence, insurance and helmet requirements.
- Electric scooters: e-scooters are excluded from the EU regulation, so each country sets its own rules on speed, power, minimum age, helmets, insurance and registration. In most countries the limit is 20–25 km/h.
- More powerful models: a scooter that exceeds your country’s limits may only be used on private or enclosed land.
