Product description

APEFOX RH20 – foldable electric bike with power for more roads.

The APEFOX RH20 is a powerful electric bike for those who want the freedom to commute, discover new paths, and navigate with confident control even when the terrain varies. With dual motors, long range, wide 20-inch fatbike tires, and full suspension, it's built for city streets, gravel roads, and lighter off-road terrain. The foldable frame makes the APEFOX RH20 extra practical for those who want to store the electric bike at home, transport it in a car, or use it on RV trips. This is an electric bike for those seeking strong performance, long battery life, and high comfort in a flexible format.

Dual motor with strong acceleration.

The APEFOX RH20 is equipped with dual motors with a nominal power of 1000W, distributed as 500W front and 500W rear. When needed, the system can deliver up to 1500W max power, providing powerful assistance during starts, climbs, and more demanding riding situations. With 65Nm of torque and a climbing ability of up to 30°, the electric bike feels stable even in hilly areas. The six riding modes make it easy to adapt the assistance to your ride, from calm everyday commuting to more powerful riding on permitted surfaces. The APEFOX RH20 has a standard speed limit of 25 km/h and can reach up to 50 km/h where permitted and according to applicable regulations.

Long range with removable battery.

The large 48V 22.5Ah battery gives the APEFOX RH20 a range of up to 100 km with pedal assistance, depending on riding mode, weight, weather, and terrain. In pure electric mode, the range is estimated at approximately 50–60 km, while pedal assistance can provide about 80–100 km. This makes the model a long-range electric bike for those who want to commute longer distances, take weekend trips, or reduce the need for frequent charging stops. The battery is removable and can be charged both directly on the bike or separately, making everyday life smoother. With a 54.6V 2A charger and approximately 7–8 hours of charging time, the bike is ready again after a night on the charger.

20-inch fatbike tires for stable grip.

The wide 20 x 4.0-inch Kenda pneumatic tires give the APEFOX RH20 a secure and stable riding feel on various types of surfaces. As a fatbike electric bike, it has a better contact area with the ground, which helps on gravel, wet roads, hard-packed earth, uneven asphalt, and lighter terrain. The tires also contribute to increased comfort by dampening small vibrations from the road. For those who want an electric bike that works both in urban environments and on more adventurous routes, the RH20 offers a good balance between grip, stability, and riding pleasure.

Full suspension for a more comfortable ride.

The APEFOX RH20 has suspension both front and rear to make longer rides more comfortable and controlled. The front suspension has 80 mm of travel and works together with the rear oil suspension to smooth out bumps, cracks, and uneven roads. This makes a big difference when riding over gravel, poor asphalt, or other surfaces where a rigid electric bike can quickly feel harsh. The full suspension system makes the RH20 feel more stable and responsive, while also providing better comfort for daily commuting and longer adventures.

Hydraulic disc brakes with responsive control.

With two hydraulic disc brakes, the APEFOX RH20 provides strong and consistent braking power when you need to slow down quickly and controllably. This is particularly important on a powerful electric bike with wide tires, high weight, and the possibility of longer rides. The hydraulic brakes offer a more responsive feel than simpler braking systems and require less hand force when braking. The rear light has a brake-activated function, which helps you to be more visible from behind when braking. Together with the front light, rear light, and IPX4 rating, you get an electric bike that is practically equipped for everyday use in varying conditions.

Smart display and practical details.

The large LED display provides clear information on speed, battery level, riding mode, gear, mileage, and other important riding data. The display also shows single or dual drive mode, making it easy to see how motor assistance is being used. The APEFOX RH20 has a USB port for charging your phone on the go, a mechanical bell, an ignition key, and a comfortable saddle for longer rides. The Shimano Tourney 7-speed drivetrain allows you to adjust the pedaling resistance to the road and pace, which is especially useful when you want to save battery or cycle more actively.

Foldable design for car, home, and travel.

The foldable frame makes the APEFOX RH20 a flexible choice for those who want a powerful electric bike without sacrificing storage options. It can be folded in two steps and fits better in the car, at home, or when traveling by RV. The aluminum frame provides a stable construction, while the net weight of 37.5 kg reflects the sturdy frame, dual motors, and large battery. The recommended rider height is 160–200 cm and the maximum load is 120 kg. The dimensions are 1860 × 680 × 1080 mm, providing a stable riding position and a robust feel on the road.

Laws & rules

Electric scooter
An electric scooter is considered a bicycle if it has a maximum speed of 20 km/h and a motor with a maximum of 250 W. However, it is important to note that the limit applies to the continuous (nominal) power – which means that the electric scooter may temporarily have a higher so-called peak power, for example up to 1000 W, as long as the nominal power does not exceed 250 W.

If the electric scooter exceeds 20 km/h in speed or has a motor with a nominal power of more than 250 W, other rules apply. The next classification is Moped class II and then Moped class IThere are technical requirements, such as braking systems, that must be met for an electric scooter to be classified as a moped.

Essentially, if it reaches up to 25 km/h it is considered Moped class II, while if the speed exceeds 40 km/h and the motor is stronger than 250 W, it is classified as Moped class I. For Moped class I, an AM driving license is required, the vehicle must be registered, and a helmet must be worn. Moped class II requires a driver's license and mandatory use of a helmet. If the electric scooter does not meet the requirements for a bicycle, Moped class I or II, it may not to be used on public roads.

Electric bike
For the requirements to apply to an electric bicycle, the motor must be limited to 250 W nominal (continuous) power and only assist pedaling up to 25 km/hThis means that the engine can temporarily deliver a higher so-called peak power, for example up to 1000 W, as long as the nominal power does not exceed 250 W. The electric bike must also be pedaled for the motor to work – it must not be able to drive on its own without the user's pedaling power.

Deviation from these requirements results in the vehicle being classified as moped, which entails other technical requirements, registration requirements, driving license and insurance.

We strongly recommend the use of a helmet, especially if the driver is under 15 years old, although it is not mandatory.
