Product description

TST R7, an electric bike for powerful and comfortable everyday riding.

The TST R7 is a robust electric bike for anyone who wants to combine long range, high comfort and strong motor power in a practical package. The motor delivers 250W nominal output and up to 1200W peak power together with 90 Nm of torque. The large 48V 15Ah battery gives up to 105 km of range and suits both longer commutes and leisure rides. With front and rear suspension, hydraulic disc brakes, 20-inch off-road tyres and a Shimano 7-speed system, you get a versatile electric bike that works just as well on city streets as on gravel and varied surfaces.

1200W peak power and 90 Nm for strong acceleration.

The TST R7 is driven by a rear hub motor with 250W nominal output and up to 1200W peak power. The 90 Nm of torque gives a clear surplus of power when pulling away, on hills and when riding with heavier loads. The top speed is 45 km/h where such riding is permitted, and a 25 km/h speed limit is available for adapted use. The bike handles gradients of up to 30 degrees, which makes it well suited to hilly areas and more demanding everyday routes.

48V 15Ah battery with up to 105 km of range.

The removable 48V 15Ah lithium battery gives the TST R7 up to 105 km of range under favourable conditions. That is plenty of capacity for longer commutes, weekend rides and days with several trips between charges. The battery is lockable and can be taken off the bike, which makes charging easier at home, at work or in the garage. A full charge takes around 5–6 hours. Actual range depends on speed, riding mode, rider weight, temperature, terrain, tyre pressure and how much motor assistance is used.

Two riding modes for flexible e-bike riding.

The TST R7 has two riding modes that make it easy to adapt the bike to the day's ride. You can choose a calmer mode when you want to prioritise control and battery life, or a more powerful mode when you need more assistance over longer distances, on hills or on tougher surfaces. The combination of two riding modes, a strong motor and the Shimano 7-speed system makes the bike flexible for both everyday commuting and leisure riding.

Full suspension for comfort on uneven roads.

Front and rear suspension help the TST R7 absorb shocks from uneven tarmac, gravel, joints and smaller potholes. The front suspension and the rear shock absorber work together to reduce vibrations through the frame and saddle. That gives a smoother and more stable ride on longer trips. The suspension pairs particularly well with the wide 20-inch tyres and makes this electric bike more comfortable when the surface changes between city streets, cycle paths and light trails.

20-inch off-road tyres for stable grip.

The air-filled 20-inch off-road tyres give the TST R7 a wide contact patch with the ground and contribute to better stability on varied surfaces. The tread suits tarmac, gravel and rougher roads where extra grip and cushioning make a real difference. The air-filled tyres also absorb minor vibrations before they reach the suspension. The combination of off-road tyres, full suspension and high torque makes the TST R7 an electric bike that feels stable even when the road gets more demanding.

Hydraulic disc brakes front and rear.

The TST R7 is equipped with hydraulic disc brakes on both wheels. The braking system delivers strong, controllable braking force and needs less hand force than many simpler mechanical solutions. That is particularly valuable on a powerful electric bike with 1200W peak power and high load capacity. Hydraulic brakes give a more direct feel at the levers and help you modulate braking better at junctions, on descents and during sudden stops.

Shimano 7 speeds for more efficient pedalling.

The Shimano-based 7-speed system gives the TST R7 a classic bicycle feel even when motor assistance is in use. You can choose a lighter gear on climbs and a harder gear on flat stretches where you want to keep a higher pace. The gears work together with the electric assistance and make it easier to find a comfortable cadence. On longer rides it helps you use both the motor and your own effort more efficiently.

LCD display, app and practical everyday equipment.

The LCD display shows key riding information such as speed, battery level, assistance level and distance travelled right at the handlebars. The TST R7 also has app connectivity for a more connected experience. A rear luggage rack, mudguards, seat and rear footpegs are included and give the model a practical everyday character. The recommended rider height is 157–193 cm and the maximum recommended load is a full 204 kg, which leaves plenty of margin for rider and cargo within the product's permitted limits.

LED lights and indicators for better visibility.

The TST R7 has front and rear lights as well as integrated indicators. The headlight helps you see the road as the light fades, while the rear light and indicators make the bike more visible to those around you. That is practical for commuting on early mornings and late evenings. The IPX5 rating protects against water jets and splashes from different directions, which makes the electric bike better suited to changeable weather. IPX5 does not, however, mean the bike is fully waterproof or suitable for submersion.

Robust construction for longer and heavier use.

The TST R7 weighs 37.5 kg and measures 1562 x 678 x 1090 mm. The stable construction is combined with a comfortable saddle and a low, accessible frame that makes it easier to get on and off. The high load capacity of 204 kg gives extra flexibility if you want to use the bike for everyday transport and carry cargo on the rear rack. The combination of a robust chassis, a strong motor and full suspension makes the R7 an electric bike for anyone who values stability and comfort over ultra-low weight.

Check the rules before riding in the EU.

The TST R7 has higher motor power and design speed than a standard-class electric bike in the EU. A speed limit of 25 km/h does not automatically mean the model is classified as a regular electric bike. Rules on registration, insurance, licensing and use on public roads vary between EU countries. Always check local regulations before riding and use the higher performance modes only where such use is permitted.

Choose the TST R7 for range, comfort and power.

The TST R7 combines 250W nominal output, up to 1200W peak power and 90 Nm of torque with a 48V 15Ah battery and up to 105 km of range. Full suspension, 20-inch off-road tyres, hydraulic disc brakes and Shimano 7 speeds create a complete electric bike for both commuting and longer leisure rides. Add two riding modes, an LCD display, app connectivity, indicators and a rear luggage rack and you get a practical model with a clear focus on comfort and versatility. Order the TST R7 at Wheelyshop and get a powerful electric bike for more kinds of journeys.

Laws & rules

EU-wide rules
  • Electric bikes: under Regulation (EU) 168/2013 a pedal-assisted bike with a motor of max 250 W that cuts out at 25 km/h is a bicycle in every EU country – no registration, licence or insurance. Anything more powerful or faster is a moped (L1e) with type approval, registration, licence, insurance and helmet requirements.
  • Electric scooters: e-scooters are excluded from the EU regulation, so each country sets its own rules on speed, power, minimum age, helmets, insurance and registration. In most countries the limit is 20–25 km/h.
  • More powerful models: a scooter that exceeds your country’s limits may only be used on private or enclosed land.
