Product description

TST R002 for long range and stable riding.

The TST R002 is a versatile electric bike for anyone who wants to combine long range, powerful motor assistance and high comfort on both tarmac and more varied surfaces. The motor delivers 250W nominal output and up to 1200W peak power together with 90 Nm of torque. The removable 48V 15Ah battery gives up to 105 km of range, while full suspension and 20-inch off-road tyres contribute to a smoother and more stable ride. With hydraulic disc brakes, Shimano 7 speeds, a luggage rack and app connectivity, you get a practical electric bike for commuting, longer rides and leisure.

250W nominal output with up to 1200W peak power.

The TST R002 is driven by an efficient rear hub motor with 250W nominal output and up to 1200W peak power. The 90 Nm of torque gives a strong response when pulling away and helps the bike keep good momentum when the road climbs. The top speed is 45 km/h where such riding is permitted, and the model can be limited to 25 km/h. Hill-climbing ability is up to 30 degrees, which makes the TST R002 well suited to city riding, hills and more demanding everyday routes alike.

48V 15Ah battery with up to 105 km of range.

The lockable, removable 48V 15Ah lithium battery gives the TST R002 up to 105 km of range on a single charge under favourable conditions. The long range suits longer commutes, everyday trips and leisure rides where you want fewer charging stops. The battery can be taken off the bike and charged separately at home or at work. A full charge takes around 7 hours. Range is affected by riding mode, speed, rider weight, temperature, terrain, tyre pressure and how much motor assistance is used.

Two riding modes for easy adjustment.

The TST R002 has two riding modes that make it easy to adapt the bike to how you want to ride. You can choose a more energy-efficient setting when you want to prioritise range, or use more motor assistance when the terrain gets tougher. The combination of pedal assistance, strong torque and Shimano gears makes the model flexible for both longer distances and everyday cycling. You get an electric bike that adapts to both the traffic environment and how much of your own effort you want to put in.

Full suspension for better comfort and control.

The TST R002 is equipped with suspension at both the front and the rear. The system helps absorb shocks from uneven tarmac, gravel, potholes and other road imperfections. The front suspension and the rear shock absorber work together to reduce vibrations through the frame and create a smoother ride. The suspension also offers adjustment and lockout, so you can tune the feel to the surface. On longer rides, full suspension gives noticeably better comfort than a completely rigid electric bike.

20-inch off-road tyres for stable grip.

The wide 20-inch air-filled tyres are built for both tarmac and more varied surfaces. The off-road tread gives better grip on gravel, uneven roads and light trails, while the air volume helps dampen minor vibrations. Together with full suspension, the tyres create a stable and confident feel even when the surface changes. If you want an electric bike that works both in the city and at the weekend, the TST R002 gives you more flexibility than a traditional narrow-wheeled city model.

Hydraulic disc brakes front and rear.

The TST R002 has hydraulic disc brakes on both the front and rear wheel. The braking system delivers powerful, even and controllable braking in everyday riding and in more demanding conditions alike. Hydraulic brakes need less hand force than many simpler mechanical systems and give a more direct feel at the levers. That is particularly valuable on an electric bike with 90 Nm of torque and high peak power, where stable braking is an important part of the riding experience.

Shimano 7 speeds for smoother pedalling.

The Shimano-based 7-speed system makes it easy to match your pedalling to the terrain and speed. A lighter gear works well on climbs, while harder gears give better efficiency on flat stretches. The gears work together with the motor assistance and make it easier to find a comfortable cadence throughout the ride. If you use the TST R002 both as an electric bike and as a regular bicycle, seven speeds offer a good balance between simplicity and flexibility.

LCD display and app for a better overview.

The LCD display shows key information such as speed, battery level, assistance level and distance travelled right in front of you. That makes it easy to keep track of the bike's status without interrupting your ride. The TST R002 also has app connectivity, which gives you further ways to monitor functions and riding data. The combination of a physical display and an app makes the model practical if you want clear control over battery, range and assistance on longer rides.

Lights, indicators and IPX5 for everyday use.

The TST R002 has front and rear lights as well as integrated indicators. The headlight helps you see better as the light fades, while the rear light and indicators make you more visible to other road users. The IPX5 rating protects against water jets and splashes from different directions and makes the electric bike better suited to changeable weather. IPX5 does not, however, mean the bike is fully waterproof or should be submerged.

Robust construction with high load capacity.

The TST R002 weighs 32.6 kg and has a recommended maximum load of 200 kg. The model suits riders between roughly 158 and 193 cm and measures 1530 x 680 x 1090 mm. The stable frame, the comfortable saddle and the included rear luggage rack make the model practical for everyday trips and carrying smaller loads. Mudguards, pedals and assembly tools are also included, which makes it easier to get the bike ready to ride.

Check the rules before riding in the EU.

The TST R002 has a technical top speed of 45 km/h and higher peak power than a standard-class electric bike in the EU. A speed limit of 25 km/h does not automatically mean the model receives the same legal classification as a regular electric bike. Rules on registration, insurance, licensing and use on public roads vary between EU countries. Always check local regulations before riding and use the higher performance modes only where such use is permitted.

Choose the TST R002 for range, comfort and flexibility.

The TST R002 combines 250W nominal output, up to 1200W peak power and 90 Nm of torque with a 48V 15Ah battery and up to 105 km of range. Full suspension, 20-inch off-road tyres, hydraulic disc brakes and Shimano 7 speeds make the model well equipped for everyday use and longer rides alike. Add the LCD display, app connectivity, indicators and rear luggage rack and you get a complete electric bike for anyone who values comfort and versatility. Order the TST R002 at Wheelyshop and choose an electric bike built for more kinds of journeys.

Laws & rules

EU-wide rules
  • Electric bikes: under Regulation (EU) 168/2013 a pedal-assisted bike with a motor of max 250 W that cuts out at 25 km/h is a bicycle in every EU country – no registration, licence or insurance. Anything more powerful or faster is a moped (L1e) with type approval, registration, licence, insurance and helmet requirements.
  • Electric scooters: e-scooters are excluded from the EU regulation, so each country sets its own rules on speed, power, minimum age, helmets, insurance and registration. In most countries the limit is 20–25 km/h.
  • More powerful models: a scooter that exceeds your country’s limits may only be used on private or enclosed land.
