Product description

KOOLUX X2 electric bike for a strong, smooth everyday.

The KOOLUX X2 is a powerful electric bike for anyone who wants to commute comfortably, get around efficiently, and enjoy more freedom in everyday life. With a 500W motor, a long range of up to 85 km, and stable 26-inch pneumatic tyres, it suits daily trips, longer rides, and varying surfaces alike. It combines practical features like a luggage rack, mudguards, lighting, and a removable battery with a rugged aluminium frame that feels secure from the very first pedal stroke.

Long range for stress-free commuting.

With a 48V 15Ah battery, the KOOLUX X2 offers a range of up to 85 km, making it an electric bike that's a great fit for commuting, errands, and longer leisure rides. You don't have to think about charging after every short trip and can plan your day more flexibly. The battery is removable, which makes charging easy at home, at work, or wherever suits you best. The charging time of around 6–7 hours means the bike is quickly ready to go again.

500W motor for power on hills and in headwinds.

The KOOLUX X2 is equipped with a 500W motor that provides stable acceleration and strong assistance when the road gets tougher. With 55–58 Nm of torque, you get good help on hills, when starting from a standstill, and when riding with a load on the luggage rack. This electric bike has three riding modes, making it easy to adapt the feel to the distance, the surface, and how much assistance you want. The standard mode is limited to 25 km/h, while the unlocked mode can provide up to 45 km/h where it's permitted.

Hydraulic brakes for secure control.

When you choose an electric bike for everyday use and commuting, the brakes are crucial. The KOOLUX X2 has two hydraulic disc brakes that deliver even, powerful, and controlled braking. That's especially noticeable on descents, at higher speeds, and when the road is wet. The combination of hydraulic brakes, a stable frame, and wide tyres makes the bike easy to control even when the pace changes. For anyone who wants a more secure riding experience, this is a clear advantage.

Comfort with 26-inch pneumatic tyres and front suspension.

The KOOLUX X2 is built to feel comfortable even when the surface isn't perfect. The pneumatic 26-inch tyres from Kenda provide good grip, smooth rolling, and effective shock absorption against small bumps. The front suspension helps reduce vibrations from the road, gravel, and curbs, making every ride more pleasant. That makes this electric bike especially practical if you commute over mixed surfaces or want to be able to take a longer ride without compromising on comfort.

Practical equipment for daily use.

The KOOLUX X2 comes with features that make it ready for everyday use right away. Front and rear lighting improve visibility, while the mudguards protect against dirt and water on wet roads. The rear luggage rack makes it easy to bring a bag, groceries, or work gear. With seven gears, you can adapt the pedaling resistance to the terrain and speed, making this electric bike flexible whether you ride in the city, in a residential area, or on longer country roads.

Rugged frame and thoughtful design.

The aluminium-alloy frame gives the KOOLUX X2 a stable feel without making the bike unnecessarily bulky. The net weight is 28.6 kg, which is reasonable for a powerful electric bike with a large battery, motor, luggage rack, and hydraulic brakes. The recommended maximum weight is 120 kg, and the bike suits riders around 165–200 cm tall. The IP54 rating provides protection against dust and light water splashes, making the bike better suited to Nordic everyday conditions.

Removable battery and secure start.

The removable battery makes the KOOLUX X2 easy to own. You can bring the battery indoors to charge, store it more securely, and avoid having to keep the whole bike near a power outlet. The ignition key provides an extra practical safety feature when the bike is started and used. For anyone who wants to buy an electric bike that's easy to handle in everyday life, both at home and at work, this is a solution that saves time and makes use smoother.

Laws & rules

EU-wide rules
  • Electric bikes: under Regulation (EU) 168/2013 a pedal-assisted bike with a motor of max 250 W that cuts out at 25 km/h is a bicycle in every EU country – no registration, licence or insurance. Anything more powerful or faster is a moped (L1e) with type approval, registration, licence, insurance and helmet requirements.
  • Electric scooters: e-scooters are excluded from the EU regulation, so each country sets its own rules on speed, power, minimum age, helmets, insurance and registration. In most countries the limit is 20–25 km/h.
  • More powerful models: a scooter that exceeds your country’s limits may only be used on private or enclosed land.
