Power and comfort in every turn with KOOLUX U1
Are you looking for an electric scooter that combines power, comfort and reliability? The KOOLUX U1 is built to meet the demands of both urban commuters and adventurous riders. With long range, a rugged build and well-thought-out features, it offers a first-class riding experience — whether you're rolling along on asphalt or taking on gravel roads. The U1 is simply an obvious choice for anyone who wants a powerful electric scooter with high functionality and safety in focus.
Long range for smooth commuting.
With a powerful 48V 15.6Ah battery, the KOOLUX U1 delivers up to 70 km of range on a single charge, making it perfect for both longer commutes and spontaneous outings. The intelligent battery system protects against overcharging, short circuits and temperature fluctuations — so you can rely on the power every day. A full charge takes between 7 and 8 hours, making it easy to charge overnight or at work.
Strong motor that handles tough roads.
Equipped with a 500W motor (nominal power), the KOOLUX U1 can climb hills with up to 20° of incline without any problem. It delivers steady power even in demanding environments and holds a top speed of 25 km/h — the legal maximum speed for electric scooters in Sweden. That makes it a strong and legal option for both everyday trips and leisure riding.
Comfortable riding with dual suspension.
So you can ride comfortably, even on uneven surfaces, the U1 is equipped with shock absorption both front and rear. The air-filled 10-inch off-road tyres provide good grip and stability whether you're riding on asphalt, gravel or light terrain. Together with the stable construction, this gives a smooth and controlled riding experience in all situations.
Safety first – every time.
The KOOLUX U1 is equipped with dual disc brakes front and rear that provide powerful and reliable braking even at higher speeds. Front and rear lighting, turn signals and a clear LCD display give you full control and visibility while riding — even in the dark. The scooter is IPX4-rated, which means it withstands splashes and rain, so you can ride safely even in rough weather.
Easy to fold and take with you.
Despite its rugged construction, the KOOLUX U1 weighs only 33.3 kg and can quickly be folded into a compact format. Perfect for anyone who wants to bring the scooter in the car, on the train or simply store it at home or the office. The folded dimensions are 1250 x 225 x 460 mm, making it easy to handle in tight spaces.
Full control with smart app and NFC.
With the accompanying mobile app (iOS & Android), you get full control over features like riding modes, lighting, speed limit and more. The app also gives you insights into battery status, ride data and system status. In addition, the KOOLUX U1 is equipped with NFC technology for secure and fast unlocking — just like on modern electric cars.
Built to fit more riders.
With a recommended age from 16 years and a maximum weight of 120 kg, the KOOLUX U1 suits both teenagers and adults. It's designed for riders between 150–185 cm and has an adjustable seat that makes riding even more comfortable. Cruise control is also included for extra comfortable riding on longer distances.

Laws & rules
Laws & rules
EU-wide rules
- Electric bikes: under Regulation (EU) 168/2013 a pedal-assisted bike with a motor of max 250 W that cuts out at 25 km/h is a bicycle in every EU country – no registration, licence or insurance. Anything more powerful or faster is a moped (L1e) with type approval, registration, licence, insurance and helmet requirements.
- Electric scooters: e-scooters are excluded from the EU regulation, so each country sets its own rules on speed, power, minimum age, helmets, insurance and registration. In most countries the limit is 20–25 km/h.
- More powerful models: a scooter that exceeds your country’s limits may only be used on private or enclosed land.
