Product description

Mercedes AMG GT – a sporty kids' electric car with remote control.

The Mercedes AMG GT is a kids' electric car that combines sporty Mercedes-inspired design with easy electric driving and practical features for young drivers. The model is recommended for children aged 3 to 8 and has a speed of around 3–5 km/h. With two 25 W motors, a 12 V 4.5 Ah battery and an included remote control, your child gets a fun first driving experience while an adult can help with control when needed.

The sporty body, modern seat and opening doors give the car a realistic look. With front and rear lights, music functions and a USB port, your child also has plenty of features to discover while driving.

Two 25 W motors with a total of 50 W.

The Mercedes AMG GT is powered by two motors of 25 W each, giving a combined motor output of 50 W. The two motors drive the car for everyday play sessions on suitable flat surfaces such as the garden or the driveway.

The speed is around 3–5 km/h, with a top speed of about 5 km/h. This lets your child experience driving their own sports car at a calm, easy-to-control pace that suits the recommended age group.

Different speeds and reverse for flexible driving.

The Mercedes AMG GT offers different driving speeds, a lower and a higher one, as well as the option to reverse. This makes the car easier to manoeuvre and lets your child adapt the driving to the situation.

The calmer setting is ideal while your child is still getting to know the car, and the higher speed adds a little more pace once driving feels familiar. Reverse is handy when the car needs to be turned or moved out of a tight space.

Remote control for extra control.

A remote control is included with the Mercedes AMG GT, allowing an adult to help control the car when needed. This is especially useful for younger children who are still learning how steering and driving work.

Your child can also drive the car independently using the steering wheel and foot pedal. The combination of independent driving and remote control makes the model flexible as your child gains experience.

12 V 4.5 Ah battery with easy charging.

The electric car is fitted with a 12 V 4.5 Ah battery that powers the two 25 W motors and the car's electrical features. The battery can be charged directly in the car, which makes charging convenient after a day of play.

The stated charging time is around 8–10 hours, so the car can be plugged in after playtime and be ready for the next drive. For correct battery care, follow the instructions in the included user manual.

Puncture-proof solid tyres.

The Mercedes AMG GT uses solid tyres that never need to be inflated. The tyres are puncture-proof, which reduces ongoing maintenance and means ordinary punctures won't interrupt your child's driving.

The wheels also complement the car's sporty look and contribute to its low, dynamic design. For families who want a low-maintenance kids' electric car, the solid tyres are a practical feature.

Front and rear lights for a realistic sports car feel.

The Mercedes AMG GT is equipped with lights at both the front and the rear. The lights enhance the car's modern, sporty look and make driving more engaging for your child.

Together with the distinctive front, the sporty body and the opening doors, the model has a clearly Mercedes-inspired look. Your child gets the feeling of sitting behind the wheel of their very own little sports car.

USB, MP3 and radio for extra entertainment.

The Mercedes AMG GT offers several ways to enjoy music while driving. According to the product information, it has a USB input, an MP3 function and a radio, so your child can combine driving with music and other entertainment.

The USB port makes it easy to use compatible media, while the music functions make driving more interactive. For your child, the car offers more than just driving.

Opening doors and a comfortable seat.

The opening doors add to the car's realistic design and make climbing into the Mercedes AMG GT more exciting. The modern seat is designed for young drivers and, according to the product information, has a seat belt.

Your child gets a clear driving position behind the steering wheel with the controls within comfortable reach. The combination of sporty design, seat and opening doors gives the model a well-finished look.

Designed for children aged 3 to 8.

The Mercedes AMG GT is recommended for children aged 3 to 8 and has a maximum user weight of 25 kg. The model is made of plastic and has a compact format suited to young drivers.

The electric car measures 990 × 550 × 410 mm and has a net weight of just 10 kg. The relatively low weight makes it easier for an adult to move or store the car when it's not in use, while your child still has plenty of room for everyday driving.

A complete package to get started.

The package includes the Mercedes AMG GT kids' electric car, a charger, a remote control, a socket wrench and a user manual. This means the key items for use, charging and basic handling are included from the start.

With two 25 W motors giving a total of 50 W, a 12 V 4.5 Ah battery, a speed of around 3–5 km/h, puncture-proof tyres and an included remote control, your child gets a well-thought-out electric sports car for everyday play.

Laws & rules

EU-wide rules
  • Electric bikes: under Regulation (EU) 168/2013 a pedal-assisted bike with a motor of max 250 W that cuts out at 25 km/h is a bicycle in every EU country – no registration, licence or insurance. Anything more powerful or faster is a moped (L1e) with type approval, registration, licence, insurance and helmet requirements.
  • Electric scooters: e-scooters are excluded from the EU regulation, so each country sets its own rules on speed, power, minimum age, helmets, insurance and registration. In most countries the limit is 20–25 km/h.
  • More powerful models: a scooter that exceeds your country’s limits may only be used on private or enclosed land.
