Product description

BMW 6GT – stylish kids' electric car with remote control.

The BMW 6GT is a kids' electric car that combines elegant car design with practical features and sensible performance for younger drivers. The model is recommended for children aged 3 to 8 and has a speed of around 3–7 km/h. With two 35 W motors, two driving modes and an included remote control, your child gets a fun first driving experience that is easy to control. The BMW-inspired design with sporty lines and details also gives the feeling of driving a real car of their own.

Two 35 W motors for stable driving.

The BMW 6GT is powered by two 35 W motors, giving a total motor output of 70 W. The twin motors give the car power for everyday drives on suitable surfaces, making it well suited to play in the garden or on the driveway, for example.

The speed is around 3–7 km/h. Your child can experience a sense of speed while the driving stays at a level that suits a kids' electric car. The BMW 6GT has two driving modes, so you can adapt the speed to your child's experience and the situation.

Remote control for extra control.

A remote control is included in the package, so an adult can help control the car when needed. This is particularly practical for younger children who are still learning how steering and acceleration work.

Your child can also drive the car on their own using the steering wheel and foot pedal. The combination of independent driving and parental control makes the BMW 6GT flexible as your child builds driving confidence and becomes more comfortable behind the wheel.

12 V 4.5 Ah battery with easy charging.

The electric car uses a 12 V 4.5 Ah battery that powers the two 35 W motors and the car's electrical features. The battery can be charged directly in the car, making it easy to get the BMW 6GT ready for the next drive.

The stated charging time is around 8–12 hours, so it is practical to plug the car in after a day of play and let the battery charge for next time. For best results, always charge and handle the battery according to the instructions in the included user manual.

Puncture-proof solid tyres.

The BMW 6GT is fitted with solid tyres that never need pumping up. The tyres are puncture-proof, which reduces ongoing maintenance and means ordinary punctures won't interrupt your child's driving.

The rear wheels also have suspension, which helps make the ride more comfortable when the ground isn't completely even.

Front and rear lights for a more realistic feel.

Lights at both the front and rear add to the BMW 6GT's realistic car feel. Together with the BMW-inspired body shapes and details, your child gets an electric car that looks like a full-size passenger car in a format made for younger drivers.

The lights are also a popular part of playtime and bring the car to life when it is used where they can be clearly seen.

USB port for music while driving.

The BMW 6GT has a USB port for connecting a USB stick to play music. Your child can listen to their own songs while using the car, making each drive more entertaining.

The combination of music function, lights, two driving modes and independent driving gives your child plenty of features to discover and use. It makes the BMW 6GT more than a simple ride-on and creates a more engaging play experience.

Designed for children aged 3 to 8.

The BMW 6GT is recommended for children aged 3 to 8 and has a maximum user weight of 30 kg. The seat gives your child a proper driving position behind the wheel, and the car is designed as a complete battery-powered ride-on.

The electric car measures 1060 × 640 × 510 mm and has a net weight of 18 kg. It is made of plastic and designed to provide a stable base while driving. Its size, weight and maximum load make the model well suited to younger drivers within the stated age group.

A complete package to get started.

When you buy the BMW 6GT, you get the electric car, a charger, a remote control and a user manual. This gives you the most important parts for charging and use straight from the start.

With 70 W total motor output, a 12 V 4.5 Ah battery, two driving modes, a speed of around 3–7 km/h, puncture-proof tyres and a remote control, you get a well-thought-out kids' electric car that suits both new and more experienced little drivers.

An elegant first electric car for little BMW fans.

The BMW 6GT is an appealing choice for children who want to experience driving a car of their own. The two 35 W motors deliver 70 W in total, while the speed of around 3–7 km/h and the two driving modes let you adapt the experience to your child's skills.

With puncture-proof tyres, front and rear lights, a USB port and an included remote control, the BMW 6GT combines driving fun with practical features for everyday play. Order the BMW 6GT kids' electric car from Wheelyshop and give your little driver their own BMW-inspired driving experience.

Laws & rules

EU-wide rules
  • Electric bikes: under Regulation (EU) 168/2013 a pedal-assisted bike with a motor of max 250 W that cuts out at 25 km/h is a bicycle in every EU country – no registration, licence or insurance. Anything more powerful or faster is a moped (L1e) with type approval, registration, licence, insurance and helmet requirements.
  • Electric scooters: e-scooters are excluded from the EU regulation, so each country sets its own rules on speed, power, minimum age, helmets, insurance and registration. In most countries the limit is 20–25 km/h.
  • More powerful models: a scooter that exceeds your country’s limits may only be used on private or enclosed land.
