Product description

Stylish powerhouse for city and off-road.

The VARUN S700-2 is the electric bike for anyone who wants both comfort and performance — whether you're commuting in the city or taking the shortcut through the forest. With its low step-through height, powerful motor and up to 55 km of range, it's tailor-made for modern commuters who set high demands on both function and style. This electric bike combines raw power with smart solutions — without compromising on safety or riding enjoyment.

Strong motor and plenty of torque.

Under the hood of the VARUN S700-2 you'll find a powerful 500W brushless rear-wheel motor that delivers up to 750W of peak power. With 55 Nm of torque and a climbing ability of a full 30°, you'll get up steep hills without any problem. It reaches a top speed of 32 km/h, making it perfect for anyone who wants a spirited but controlled ride — both in the city and out in nature.

Long range with removable battery.

With a smart, removable 48V 10.4Ah lithium battery, you get a range of up to 55 km in assist mode. In pure electric mode, the range is between 35 and 40 km. The battery charges fully in 4–6 hours and is easy to bring inside for charging — perfect if you live in an apartment or want to charge safely at the office.

Comfortable riding everywhere.

The VARUN S700-2 is equipped with front suspension and wide 27.5-inch air-filled tyres that effectively absorb bumps from the road. The rugged aluminium frame gives a stable feel, while you get a smooth ride even over gravel, cobblestones or lighter terrain. That makes the bike just as at home in the city as on country roads or forest trails.

Safety in every detail.

Safety is in focus with two powerful mechanical disc brakes and built-in lighting both front and rear. The IP65 rating means the electric bike handles both rain and dirt — so you can ride safely no matter the weather. With both an ignition key and cruise control, you get extra safety and convenience on longer rides.

Smart gear system and assist modes.

You have four different riding modes to choose from, depending on how much help you want from the motor. Shifting is smooth with a reliable Shimano 7-speed system, so you can adapt your ride to the terrain and your own energy level. With cruise control, you also get the ability to hold a steady speed without having to throttle constantly — perfect for longer commutes.

Designed for all body types.

With a recommended user weight of up to 150 kg and an adjustable seat, the VARUN S700-2 suits most cyclists. The low step-through height makes it easy to get on and off, which is appreciated by both older users and people with reduced mobility. The bike is also especially comfortable for anyone wearing a skirt or dress.

Complete package with practical accessories.

When you buy the VARUN S700-2 at Wheelyshop, you don't just get a top-class electric bike — you also get a complete package with charger, user manual, tool kit, mudguards, keys and extra bonus gifts: a phone holder, a combination lock and a handy mini pump. Everything you need to get started right away.

Quality you can trust.

The VARUN S700-2 is CE-certified to European safety and environmental standards. Every bike undergoes careful inspection and calibration before it ships. You also get a two-year warranty and lifetime technical support from Wheelyshop — and we always respond within 24 hours.

Laws & rules

EU-wide rules
  • Electric bikes: under Regulation (EU) 168/2013 a pedal-assisted bike with a motor of max 250 W that cuts out at 25 km/h is a bicycle in every EU country – no registration, licence or insurance. Anything more powerful or faster is a moped (L1e) with type approval, registration, licence, insurance and helmet requirements.
  • Electric scooters: e-scooters are excluded from the EU regulation, so each country sets its own rules on speed, power, minimum age, helmets, insurance and registration. In most countries the limit is 20–25 km/h.
  • More powerful models: a scooter that exceeds your country’s limits may only be used on private or enclosed land.
