The Smart husdjursvagn cykel 10801 is a practical and comfortable dog bicycle trailer for small and medium-sized dogs. The trailer connects to the rear wheel of the bicycle using the included tow bar and quick-release coupling, making it easy to bring your pet along on cycling trips in the city, the park or on longer outings. The internal safety leash can be attached to the dog's harness to help keep the dog safely in place during the ride.

The large mesh panels on the sides, front and rear give good ventilation and allow the dog to see the surroundings. The front opening has a protective cover that helps shield against light rain, wind and dirt. The opening on top lets the dog look out and makes it easier for the owner to stay in contact with their pet during the ride.

The trailer comes with a soft cushion that provides a more comfortable surface. The three storage pockets can be used for treats, toys, a lead and other smaller accessories. Reflective details and reflectors on the wheels improve visibility in poor light conditions.

The two air-filled wheels with a diameter of 40 cm contribute to a stable and comfortable ride. After use, the wheels can be removed and the trailer folded for easier storage at home or in the car boot.

Electric scooter
An electric scooter is considered a bicycle if it has a maximum speed of 20 km/h and a motor with a maximum of 250 W. However, it is important to note that the limit applies to the continuous (nominal) power – which means that the electric scooter may temporarily have a higher so-called peak power, for example up to 1000 W, as long as the nominal power does not exceed 250 W.

If the electric scooter exceeds 20 km/h in speed or has a motor with a nominal power of more than 250 W, other rules apply. The next classification is Moped class II and then Moped class IThere are technical requirements, such as braking systems, that must be met for an electric scooter to be classified as a moped.

Essentially, if it reaches up to 25 km/h it is considered Moped class II, while if the speed exceeds 40 km/h and the motor is stronger than 250 W, it is classified as Moped class I. For Moped class I, an AM driving license is required, the vehicle must be registered, and a helmet must be worn. Moped class II requires a driver's license and mandatory use of a helmet. If the electric scooter does not meet the requirements for a bicycle, Moped class I or II, it may not to be used on public roads.

Electric bike
For the requirements to apply to an electric bicycle, the motor must be limited to 250 W nominal (continuous) power and only assist pedaling up to 25 km/hThis means that the engine can temporarily deliver a higher so-called peak power, for example up to 1000 W, as long as the nominal power does not exceed 250 W. The electric bike must also be pedaled for the motor to work – it must not be able to drive on its own without the user's pedaling power.

Deviation from these requirements results in the vehicle being classified as moped, which entails other technical requirements, registration requirements, driving license and insurance.

We strongly recommend the use of a helmet, especially if the driver is under 15 years old, although it is not mandatory.
