Product description
Product description
The Smart barnvagn cykel BT511 is a practical 2-in-1 solution that can be used both as a bicycle trailer and as a standalone pram. The model is designed for transporting one or two children and can easily be adapted to how the family wants to travel. When used behind the bicycle, the tow bar connects to the rear axle of the bike, while the removable front wheel and handlebar are used when the model is configured as a pram.
Inside there is a five-point harness that keeps the child securely in place during transport. When transporting one child, the child should be seated in the centre, though the trailer also has room for two children. The included cover has a PVC rain shield that helps protect passengers from rain and flying dirt. The rain shield can be rolled up for better ventilation, and the mesh panel at the front allows air circulation on warmer days.
The foldable construction makes the BT511 easier to transport and store when not in use. The rear wheels can be removed with a quick-release system, and the front wheel is fitted when the trailer is to be used as a pram. The parking brake is intended to be used when the trailer is stationary in pram mode. The safety flag increases visibility when the trailer is used behind a bicycle. According to the manual, the maximum load is 40 kg and the maximum speed in bicycle trailer mode is 16 km/h.
Order the Sepnine BT511 from Wheelyshop if you are looking for a flexible child bicycle trailer that combines cycling transport and pram function in one product.
Important: Always check usage and follow the product's safety instructions.

Laws & rules

Electric scooter
An electric scooter is considered a bicycle if it has a maximum speed of 20 km/h and a motor with a maximum of 250 W. However, it is important to note that the limit applies to the continuous (nominal) power – which means that the electric scooter may temporarily have a higher so-called peak power, for example up to 1000 W, as long as the nominal power does not exceed 250 W.
If the electric scooter exceeds 20 km/h in speed or has a motor with a nominal power of more than 250 W, other rules apply. The next classification is Moped class II and then Moped class IThere are technical requirements, such as braking systems, that must be met for an electric scooter to be classified as a moped.
Essentially, if it reaches up to 25 km/h it is considered Moped class II, while if the speed exceeds 40 km/h and the motor is stronger than 250 W, it is classified as Moped class I. For Moped class I, an AM driving license is required, the vehicle must be registered, and a helmet must be worn. Moped class II requires a driver's license and mandatory use of a helmet. If the electric scooter does not meet the requirements for a bicycle, Moped class I or II, it may not to be used on public roads.
Electric bike
For the requirements to apply to an electric bicycle, the motor must be limited to 250 W nominal (continuous) power and only assist pedaling up to 25 km/hThis means that the engine can temporarily deliver a higher so-called peak power, for example up to 1000 W, as long as the nominal power does not exceed 250 W. The electric bike must also be pedaled for the motor to work – it must not be able to drive on its own without the user's pedaling power.
Deviation from these requirements results in the vehicle being classified as moped, which entails other technical requirements, registration requirements, driving license and insurance.
We strongly recommend the use of a helmet, especially if the driver is under 15 years old, although it is not mandatory.
