Product description

The Smart Armrest for children is a practical, rear-mounted armrest and safety rail for children who sit on the back seat of an electric bike, electric scooter, moped, or similar two-wheeled vehicle with suitable mounting. The product is designed to give your child a more stable and comfortable seat during shorter trips, everyday journeys, and family rides. With two side supports, a backrest, and a safety strap, it helps your child sit in a more organized way and reduces unnecessary movement during the ride.

The rugged construction is made of metal and has a durable design for long-lasting use. The armrests give your child a natural place to rest their arms, while the backrest provides extra support behind the body. The rear mounting makes the product especially useful as an accessory for electric bikes and scooters with a rear child seat or a suitable seat platform. The compact shape doesn't take up much space but still provides clear support around your child's seating position.

The Smart Armrest for children has a foldable side design that makes it easier to use and store when needed. The adjustable mounting plate with multiple holes lets the product be adapted to different seating solutions and vehicle models with the right attachment points. The included strap helps keep your child better positioned on the seat, while the rounded armrests provide a more comfortable feel during the ride.

This is a smart replacement or upgrade accessory for anyone who wants to make their child's rear seat more practical and safer in everyday use. Always check the measurements and mounting options before purchase to ensure the right fit. Laws & rules

Electric scooter
An electric scooter is considered a bicycle if it has a maximum speed of 20 km/h and a motor with a maximum of 250 W. However, it is important to note that the limit applies to the continuous (nominal) power – which means that the electric scooter may temporarily have a higher so-called peak power, for example up to 1000 W, as long as the nominal power does not exceed 250 W.

If the electric scooter exceeds 20 km/h in speed or has a motor with a nominal power of more than 250 W, other rules apply. The next classification is Moped class II and then Moped class IThere are technical requirements, such as braking systems, that must be met for an electric scooter to be classified as a moped.

Essentially, if it reaches up to 25 km/h it is considered Moped class II, while if the speed exceeds 40 km/h and the motor is stronger than 250 W, it is classified as Moped class I. For Moped class I, an AM driving license is required, the vehicle must be registered, and a helmet must be worn. Moped class II requires a driver's license and mandatory use of a helmet. If the electric scooter does not meet the requirements for a bicycle, Moped class I or II, it may not to be used on public roads.

Electric bike
For the requirements to apply to an electric bicycle, the motor must be limited to 250 W nominal (continuous) power and only assist pedaling up to 25 km/hThis means that the engine can temporarily deliver a higher so-called peak power, for example up to 1000 W, as long as the nominal power does not exceed 250 W. The electric bike must also be pedaled for the motor to work – it must not be able to drive on its own without the user's pedaling power.

Deviation from these requirements results in the vehicle being classified as moped, which entails other technical requirements, registration requirements, driving license and insurance.

We strongly recommend the use of a helmet, especially if the driver is under 15 years old, although it is not mandatory.
