Product description

The Smart pull-along cart is a foldable transport cart that makes it easier to carry luggage, groceries, recreational equipment, and other loads on walks, shopping trips, excursions, and bike rides. The cart can be used as a hand-pulled cart when walking and as a practical bike trailer when attached to the bicycle's seat post with the included adapter. This provides a flexible solution for transport without having to carry the load yourself or burden the bike's pannier rack.

The sturdy frame is made of aluminum and combined with durable Teslin mesh, providing a lightweight and ventilated construction. Two 12-inch pneumatic wheels help the cart roll smoothly on roads, sidewalks, park paths, and slightly uneven surfaces. The load capacity is up to 20 kg, offering plenty of space for items such as suitcases, backpacks, shopping goods, picnic equipment, or camping accessories. The front support bar allows the cart to stand more steadily when used without a bicycle.

The Smart pull-along cart is designed for easy storage and transport. The foldable frame can be collapsed into a compact size when the cart is not in use. The two included shoulder straps make it possible to carry the folded cart on your back, which is suitable for travel, car transport, or when storage space is limited. The wheels are mounted with quick fasteners, and the frame is secured with practical clips after unfolding.

When the cart is used with a bicycle, the coupling adapter is mounted on the bicycle's seat post. The adapter is designed for seat posts with a diameter of at least 3 cm. Installation is done with a bracket, plastic washers, a screw, and a safety pin for a stable connection. If the bike has a pannier rack or mudguards and the rear wheel is larger than 66 cm, an additional connecting rod may be needed or recommended depending on the bike's design.

For safe use, ensure that the bicycle is suitable for pulling a trailer and that the coupling, frame, fasteners, straps, tires, and wheels are correctly in place before each ride. When the cart is used behind a bicycle, the load must not exceed 20 kg and the speed should not be higher than 16 km/h. Also, note that the bike will have a longer braking distance and a larger turning radius with the cargo trailer attached.

Buy the Smart pull-along cart when you want a versatile, foldable, and easy-to-use solution for everyday transport and bike rides. Order online from Wheelyshop and transport your load more smoothly.

Important: Always check use and follow the product's safety instructions.

Laws & rules

Electric scooter
An electric scooter is considered a bicycle if it has a maximum speed of 20 km/h and a motor with a maximum of 250 W. However, it is important to note that the limit applies to the continuous (nominal) power – which means that the electric scooter may temporarily have a higher so-called peak power, for example up to 1000 W, as long as the nominal power does not exceed 250 W.

If the electric scooter exceeds 20 km/h in speed or has a motor with a nominal power of more than 250 W, other rules apply. The next classification is Moped class II and then Moped class IThere are technical requirements, such as braking systems, that must be met for an electric scooter to be classified as a moped.

Essentially, if it reaches up to 25 km/h it is considered Moped class II, while if the speed exceeds 40 km/h and the motor is stronger than 250 W, it is classified as Moped class I. For Moped class I, an AM driving license is required, the vehicle must be registered, and a helmet must be worn. Moped class II requires a driver's license and mandatory use of a helmet. If the electric scooter does not meet the requirements for a bicycle, Moped class I or II, it may not to be used on public roads.

Electric bike
For the requirements to apply to an electric bicycle, the motor must be limited to 250 W nominal (continuous) power and only assist pedaling up to 25 km/hThis means that the engine can temporarily deliver a higher so-called peak power, for example up to 1000 W, as long as the nominal power does not exceed 250 W. The electric bike must also be pedaled for the motor to work – it must not be able to drive on its own without the user's pedaling power.

Deviation from these requirements results in the vehicle being classified as moped, which entails other technical requirements, registration requirements, driving license and insurance.

We strongly recommend the use of a helmet, especially if the driver is under 15 years old, although it is not mandatory.
